This Legislature-referred measure would create a “single-subject rule” that could block citizens from exercising their right to change the state constitution — not cool! For instance, it could stop ERA NOW from initiating a state Equal Rights Amendment. North Dakotans already rejected the Legislature’s idea of restricting the voter initiative process with the “single-subject rule” back in 2024 — and now the Legislature put it back on the primary ballot hoping fewer people are paying attention. They’re counting on low turnout. Prove them wrong. VOTE NO.
