After an incredible year of service in Montero, Enrico, Daniele, Eleonora, and Flavio (our Italian Civil Service volunteers) said goodbye to Bolivia last week. 💜

Words can't fully express how grateful we are for the dedication, energy, and compassion they brought to our work in the field. Their contributions have made a lasting impact on our team and the communities we serve.

We hope their time in Bolivia was as meaningful for them as it was for us, filled with unforgettable experiences, new friendships, and valuable lessons.

Thank you, Enrico, Daniele, Eleonora, and Flavio, for walking alongside us this past year. We will miss you dearly and wish you every success and happiness in the adventures ahead. ¡Hasta pronto! 🇧🇴

On June 8, Etta Projects was honored to be selected as one of five recipients of the Social Justice Through Philanthropy Grant, awarded by the University of Washington.

This was a highly competitive process, with more than 60 nonprofit organizations from across the Seattle area applying for funding. We are deeply humbled and grateful to have been chosen! 💜

Thanks to this $15,000 grant, Etta Projects will be able to expand access to Sexual and Reproductive Health services in rural Bolivia in 2027, helping more girls, adolescents, and women receive the care and education they deserve. 🏩

We are incredibly thankful to the University of Washington students and faculty who made this opportunity possible, and to all of our supporters who help make our work a reality!

This year's fundraiser may have broken the record for most attended and most raised during a single afternoon! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who made an impact at the event and the hard working crew behind the scenes.

There is no better way to celebrate after 23 years of building an amazing legacy and following. Thank you to Carla, our wonderfully inspiring speaker and EP psychologist for talking about her experience working with the adolescents in Bolivia. YOU helped raise $63,700 during our raise the paddle. Our Etta Projects family is the best!!

Curious about who our guest of honor will be at Etta's Fundraiser?

We are pleased to welcome Carla, Etta Projects’ psychologist, who developed and leads the Girls’ and Boys’ Empowerment Programs. She joined the team in April 2024 to oversee adolescent programs, proposing strategies to address topics such as mental health, sexual and reproductive health, leadership, and menstrual hygiene, among others. She has been instrumental in expanding our reach to include teenage boys—a critical step in addressing the deeply rooted culture of gender-based violence.
