The renovations may be in progress but the cupboard remains open! A beautiful new mural will be added soon (😉😉 ).

NEW DATE!!! The Hell’s Kitchen Community Cupboard is proud to partner with Hands Off NYC on March 1st! Come by the cupboard to get educated on your rights if you see ICE, learn what you can do to help protect your community, canvass and talk to neighbors about the resources available, and get plugged into organizing efforts across HK and the whole city. We’ll also be collecting food donations & distributing free coffee! Let’s show our neighbors we have their back - see you on Sunday! Sign up link in bio.

Thanks to the outpouring of support from our wonderful donors and volunteers we were able to add extra food, to the cupboard, more than 10 times throughout the SNAP benefit outage. Here’s what we delivered together:

🫘 Beans lentils & rice: 310 lbs
🍜 Soup & noodles: 372 svgs
🍏 Fruits & veggies: 340 lbs
🥐 Oatmeal & bars : 200 svgs
🐟 Tuna: 130 cans

When we say our friends at show up…we mean they SHOW UP!!!! Always hosting us, donating, coordinating, sourcing food, and supporting us. Neighbors like our friends at OneCo are what make the cupboard community and Hells Kitchen so special.

Today hosting a distribution with the help of volunteers. They shared boxes of food that contained produce and chicken. Wowza! Thank you!!!
