The Development CAFE were proud to be a partner of the Next Generation Sustainability Transitions (NEST) Conference 2025, held at the University of Sussex Business School on 29–30 May. The Development CAFE co-sponsored this event and was represented by our board member.

As we reflect on powerful discussions—from rethinking sustainability narratives to agroecological transitions—we're reminded that real change is rooted in place, people, and partnership. 🌱💬

Transitions must be just—not just green. And The Development CAFE remains committed to co-creating knowledge that challenges, inspires, and transforms.

🌱 Sustainability isn’t just about being green — it’s about being just.

From Indonesia’s micro-hydro villages to South Africa’s agroecology farms, real change happens when we center community knowledge, equity, and collaboration.
