Wreaths Across America
Volunteer to lay wreaths at the graves of our Nation's heroes. Wreaths Across America is at Dayton National Cemetery this upcoming Saturday, December 13, 2025 at noon. The annual event is a way to honor and remember Veterans at their final resting place. If interested in helping, just show up at the cemetery.

On December 7, 1941, our nation was forever changed. We honor the 2,403 lives lost at Pearl Harbor and the countless heroes whose courage and sacrifice shaped the course of history.

As we reflect on this “day of infamy,” we express our deepest gratitude to all who served—and all who continue to serve—in defense of our nation.

Miami Valley Gold Star Wives attended the Funeral Service in Memory of Sterling E. NEWSOME, Jr. on November 13. Airman First Class Newman, was the Uncle of Gold Star Wife Barbara Rosser's late husband, Nathaniel Rosser.

Airman 1st Class Newman died while in service of the Air Force, November 22, 1952.
