Today was a great day to walk together for hope and healing. ❤️ PFLAG Lawrenceville was honored to sponsor and walk in Brookwood 's Out of the Darkness Campus Walk! Seeing our community come together to support mental health awareness and su***de prevention was truly inspiring.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated and walked with us -- together we can make a difference.

We've raised $628 so far, but we would love to reach our goal of $1,000 to support life-saving mental health resources that include research, education, and advocacy.

It's time to get our walking shoes on!!

Brookwood High School in Snellville will host its 4th Annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk on Saturday, April 25 to raise funds for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP). AFSP was established in 1987 and is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by su***de a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. Their mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de.

AFSP Campus walks are community events so all are invited to join in! Here are some ways that you can play a part in helping to end su***de.

1. Join our PFLAG Lawrenceville team: This is the one we hope you are able to do as representation matters! You can walk with us around Brookwood's track on the 25th OR you can do a virtual walk with friends or on your own! https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/teams/389778
