We have been BUSY!
For the privacy and safety of our clients, I don’t post pictures of our work. Anything outside of them asking for their pictures to be posted on social media is borderline exploitation
The same goes for donors and volunteers - many prefer to give anonymously, and we respect the privacy of all we interact with 💖
But I want to share with you all the work we have been doing over the last 3 months!
We have provided clothing, newly purchased undergarments, toiletries, toys/books and meals to over 500 families 🧡
After hanging clothes on mobile racks, we were able to take them to group homes for boys and allow them to “shop” with dignity. They were able to go through our racks to pick out their own clothes based on their individual styles - something many of them rarely have the opportunity to do 💙
We partnered with a couple of organizations to provide interview and new job clothing for parents in shelters as well as recent community college graduates 💚
We have connected homeless families with resources for both short term and long term housing solutions 💛
We have provided “Welcome Home” baskets and household goods for families transitioning from shelters/motels to permanent housing 🤍
We have provided aid to 3 families that recently lost their homes to fire. 💜
But we aren’t stopping there! This month we are kicking it into high gear to prepare for the cold months - this includes getting coats, socks, blankets, hand warmers, and hot meals to those who need them!
