Our children took a trip to the wonderful Cape Town Science Centre on the 28th of March. A huge thank you to Ashley Millar and The Protea Project for making this possible.

breast cancer awareness day hosted by the Ubuntu Centre in Masiphumelele and sponsored by the Protea Project. What an incredible day creating breast cancer awareness. Thank you to Promise Banda from Projekt Ubuntu for spearheading this campaign with Wendy Black & Taneel from Pink Drive. The day included talks on health & wellness, entertainment & dance as well as free breast checks by Pink Drive. Huge thank you to Claire Konemann for our bouquets of fresh flowers, our amazing MC - Yonela, and Mama Pat & our peer educators from Ubuntu centre for event behind the scenes decor & logistics. It was such a treat for all the women that attended. Amy Rosslind from Count of Eight had us dancing to Brenda Fassie. There were so many elements that made this event so so special

Such a huge thank you to Claire Konemann from for sharing your love & art with us. The children absolutely L O V E their art workshops with you. You are helping us tap into our creativity and the children discover all the beautiful things that they can create for themselves. Such a powerful lesson & tool in life. Claire donated 40 tiles for the children to each create their own master piece. We have 40 beautiful mosaic tiles and each child is super proud of their individual creations ! Thank u so much Claire for you love, passion, enthusiasm & care. We love you & are looking forward to our next workshop. Thank u Mama Pat, Promise & our amazing peer educators for all the love you put in on a daily basis. It shows through the children's smiles. Also huge thanks to Diego for being there for us and your continued love, commitment and dedication to the centre and our entire crew. We love you millions.
