Memorial Day is our national holiday where we honor our fallen men and women heroes who risked their lives to protect our country and provide freedom for all of us.
We would like to thank the City of San Gabriel, our supporters and sponsors, Starbucks on Rosemead Blvd, San Gabriel, who made our event a success.

Michael Cervantes, our president, presented Tony Higuera, Elaine Lopez Ramirez, and Ray Diaz with a Certificate of Honor for their dedication and hard work. Our coalition's mission is to continue our success as we move forward with our vision for a veterans' monument. Congratulations!

The San Gabriel Veterans' Memorial Coalition worked today to prepare for the Memorial Service Ceremony, which will be held this Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The special speaker will be Mr. Joe Valdez.

The SGVMC, and the community are grateful to the Friends of the San Gabriel Mission Cemetery, for remembering our U.S. Military Veterans. To gather all, a beautiful, fun dinner was hosted by the Friends. Donations were made by the guests, and supporters to the SGVMC. Thank you for your kindness, and thank you for honoring our Veterans! 🇺🇸
