We are delighted to let you know that Mullingar Dublin Road South Community Games Area has been established in 2023. Please refer to the community games website for detailed information on events, age calculator etc. https://www.communitygames.ie/

Please note age group is determined by age on 31 July. This page contains summary details of our area location, committee, child safeguarding statement

and parent/guardian consent form together with events our area hope to participate in 2023. Parent / Guardian Consent and Expression of Interest Form - https://forms.gle/8iLqyQiWPfUijrTDA

There are many events and activities to part take in however, the initial events and activities we as an area hope to participate in are (with more to follow in the coming weeks)

Events March and April 2023

 Swimming (individual event) (various age groups from over 8 to under 16). Consent and
expression of interest form completed by Monday 6 March 2023
 Indoor Soccer age categories: 1) under 10 and over 8 and 2) over 10 and under 13. Consent
and expression of interest form completed by Monday 6 March 2023
 Handball (individual event) age categories: Under 13/Over 9 and Under 16/Over 13 Consent
and expression of interest form completed by Monday 6 March 2023
 Mixed Distance Relay age category : under 12 and over 10: Consent and expression of
interest form completed by Thursday 16 March 2023
 Cross Country age category under 13 over 11. Consent and expression of interest form
completed by Thursday 16 March 2023
 Pitch and Putt (Individual event) under 16 and over 10. Consent and expression of interest form completed by Thursday 16 March 2023

Therefore, if there is any child who wishes to part-take in the above events could you please complete and submit the consent and expression of interest form by the above dates. We will then contact you by text message to let you know details of the event and competition for
the above and if the area is able to participate in the event. Please keep an eye on this page as we will update with more information and additional event as
they arise over the coming weeks. To cover administrative costs there will be €2 charge for child to take part in each event and this will be collected on the day of the event.

The result may not have been in MDRS favor but the boys & girls put in a super performance, well done everyone 👏🏼 👏🏼
