The Daffodil Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to each of the Daffodil Princesses in Pierce County’s Daffodil Festival.

The Daffodil Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to each Daffodil Princess in Pierce County to use for tuition and books at the college, technical college, or university of their choice. Each Princess receives an education scholarship to use for tuition and books at the college, technical college, or university of their choice. The Daffodil Royal Court consists of high school seniors from

23 schools in Pierce County. Each princess serves their High School for one year. Scholarships have been awarded to members of the Daffodil Royal Court since 1976, however only one scholarship was awarded that year. Beginning in 1999, the Daffodil Scholarship Foundation has provided scholarships to all Princesses of the Daffodil Royal Court. To continue providing individual scholarships, the Daffodil Foundation relies on annual contributions and donations from businesses, communities, and the general public. Our Story

The Daffodil Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to each of the Daffodil Princesses in Pierce County’s Daffodil Festival. Each Princess receives an education scholarship to use for tuition and books at the college, technical college, or university of their choice. The Daffodil Royal Court consists of high school seniors from 23 schools in Pierce County. Each princess serves their High School for one year. These young ladies earn their scholarships through academic merit and serving their communities while learning leadership skills and making a positive impact. Scholarships have been awarded to members of the Daffodil Royal Court since 1976, however only one scholarship was awarded that year. Beginning in 1999, the Daffodil Scholarship Foundation has provided scholarships to all Princesses of the Daffodil Royal Court. Scholarship awards have grown since the foundation’s inception in 1976. We started by awarding one scholarship to the Queen and since 1999 have awarded scholarships to all members of the Daffodil Royal Court. To date, we have awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to young women in Pierce County To continue providing individual scholarships, the Daffodil Foundation relies on annual contributions and donations from businesses, communities, and the general public.
