Health Camp and Community Support Program
We, Gyalbo Laura Sewa Sastha had an opportunity to support a transformative Mega Health Camp on October 26, 2024, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Kathmandu Namobuddha and Thuptan Karma Rinpoche to reach out to needy. Our efforts focused on connecting essential healthcare services to those in need, with specialist doctors for ear, nose, eyes and throat general check-ups, diabetes and blood pressure screenings, and dental care, all aimed at uplifting our community's well-being. Distribution of blankets,schools bags and copies to elderly citizens ,widow and students from government schools .
To ensure the program's success, we managed all logistical aspects of the event, including food, lodging, and two-way transportation. The day was further enriched by heartfelt local welcome songs and tokens of appreciation for our guests.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Lions Club of Kathmandu Namo Buddha team and doctors for their unwavering dedication,Dr. Saroj Shrestha from Dobo Temba Furphu Hospital and Aamachodingmo ward-4 team for their unconditional support.
This collaboration has made a meaningful impact on our community, and we look forward to partnering on more initiatives like this in the future. Together, we can continue building a healthier, more compassionate community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day so impactful!
