📘 Gathang Language Educator (Identified)
Play a central role in teaching and promoting the Gathang language across community, school and on‑Country settings. This role involves delivering classes, developing resources, and working closely with Knowledge Holders to support intergenerational language transmission.

🗂️ Archival Researcher (Identified)
Help strengthen access to Gathang language knowledge by researching, organising, and describing archival materials held in libraries, museums and collecting institutions. This role supports language revitalisation through ethical research, strong community relationships, and culturally informed archival practice.

🙋🏾‍♂️EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST OPEN🙋🏼‍♂️

Are you a First Nations boy or young man (or know one) who's keen to learn more about Language and Culture?

The Gurung Gumbagal (Solid Leaders) program is a 12-week program funded by Aboriginal Affairs NSW and delivered by Traditional Owner and Knowledge Holder, Uncle Matty Rumble.

This program aims to build leadership skills through Cultural learning and practice sessions held for a few hours one day per week over 3 months.

🪵🔨The group will be guided to craft cultural tools and artefacts using sustainably harvested materials from July to October.

📅As part of this, we're asking *you* to help us choose the dates that work best for the group.
