The Israeli-American Council (IAC) is deeply saddened by the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham.
For decades, Senator Graham was among Israelโs most steadfast and courageous allies in the United States Senate. In moments of uncertainty, crisis, and war, he never wavered in his support for the Jewish state. He championed Israelโs security, fought tirelessly for robust U.S. military assistance, led efforts to confront the murderous Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies, and consistently defended Israelโs right to protect its citizens and pursue peace from a position of strength.
Senator Graham was a trusted friend to the people of Israel and the Israeli-American community. His moral clarity, principled leadership, and unwavering belief in the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel left a lasting mark on both nations. His voice carried conviction, his friendship was genuine, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who shared his commitment to freedom, democracy, and the U.S.-Israel alliance.
We extend our deepest condolences to Senator Grahamโs family, friends, colleagues, the people of South Carolina, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. We join millions of Americans and Israelis in mourning the loss of an extraordinary leader whose dedication and friendship will be remembered forever.
May his memory be a blessing, and may his remarkable legacy continue to inspire future generations to strengthen the enduring partnership between the United States and Israel.
