WELCOME! We've seen a flurry of new citizens recently, people who are eager to help accelerate humanity's presence off-world. We're now 236 citizens strong across more than 38 countries. This a space program that is powered by and for the citizens, representing a new model for coordination and collaboration.

There is so much going on right now, including the campaign to send Frank White and a community member to space, to our 10 active projects actively building around the world. We hope you'll join us in this important mission to open access to space.

What an incredible week of connections, conversations, and looking ahead (and up) at the future of space. Five new projects just cleared community vote and approval, and every one of them moves our mission forward.

🛰 MDP-260 — Human Rated DAO Vacuum Chamber (Trent Tresch) New vacuum chamber components at UNM's human-rated altitude chamber, opened up for community lunar habitation testing.

🌙 MDP-265 — Interactive NASA Lunar Base Model (Aleksa Djurdjevic) Turning NASA's Moon to Mars and Artemis architecture into interactive, open mission plans anyone can test and build on.

🚀 MDP-259 — Mission Cosmic Colombia (Giovanna Ramirez) A 7-day immersive STEAM program and Solidarity Space Kits bringing space to underserved communities and young patients across Colombia.

🤖 MDP-262 — FUTURA: Rover Mission Control (Sky Lavergne) An open framework for how robots assess and qualify lunar terrain — before we build anything on it.

📡 MDP-258 — Satellite Payload & Education (Florence Pauline) LUZINHA: a real orbital radiation payload paired with a cartoon space scout so students can follow the live data.

Day 02: Living Like a Martian 🧑‍🚀🧡

Day 02 was packed with exciting activities! From EVAs and underwater training to stargazing and so much more, every experience brought us one step closer to understanding what life on Mars could be like.

I’m so proud to be representing my country, Sri Lanka, on this incredible journey. This mission is pushing me out of my comfort zone, teaching me new skills, and giving me a glimpse into what the future of space exploration could look like.
