In the afternoon, we had the official opening ceremony of the NAC Regional Conference, including the presentation of the members of the BPW International Executive who were present.

The Leaders Summit then began with an inspiring interview led by Karin Gorgerat with our Guest of Honour, Danielle Hall of BMO Financial Group, under the theme “INSPIRE.”

NORTH AMERICA & CARIBBEAN (NAC) REGIONAL CONFERENCE
August 23–25, 2026 Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Day 1 – Youth Symposium 🌎✨

Following the opening welcome from Karin Gorgerat, NAC Coordinator, Deanna Walwyn-Bowrin, NAC BPW Young BPW Representative and Youth Symposium Host, admirably took the lead.

What a powerful intergenerational BPW event — bringing together voices, experiences and perspectives across generations.

The day featured inspiring roundtables and meaningful conversations on:
* Why Youth Spaces Matter
* Power, Identity & Leadership
* Economic Justice & Work
* Mental Health & Care

One message stood out: “Youth are not the future — they are the present.”

Young people have so much to contribute today. Their voices, ideas and leadership matter — and they are already helping shape the world we live in.

The children in our schools are the future. Youth are shaping the present. 💛

More to come from the NAC Regional Conference, along with a few pictures from this inspiring first day! 📸

* Pourquoi les espaces pour les jeunes sont importants
* Pouvoir, identité et leadership
* Justice économique et travail
* Santé mentale et soins
