It's deeply distressing to hear about the collapse of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue, a symbol of our pride and heritage. This incident is not just an unfortunate event; it’s a direct insult to the legacy of one of India’s greatest warriors. The fact that this statue was recently inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India makes it even more shocking.
This collapse is a glaring example of the incompetence and negligence in the construction and infrastructure sectors. It’s unacceptable that such a significant monument, honoring a figure as revered as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was not built to last. This reflects the substandard quality and corruption that have plagued our infrastructure projects, roads, and tourism facilities.
The entire committee responsible for this project must be held accountable. Legal action should be taken against those who allowed this disgraceful act of disrespect to happen. The people involved in this project have not only failed in their professional duties but have also disrespected our beloved king and our country’s pride. This is not something we will stand for. We demand immediate action, transparency, and justice for this monumental failure.
