Hi Everyone,
Thank you for supporting Julian Assange and following this page over the years.

The great news is that he has his freedom, as of about June 2024, but of course it would be complete if the charges against him were dropped.

There is not much more we can do with this page so I am suggesting we close it. We can still follow news about Julian - and direct our support to others facing similar situations.

Your comments are welcome but it may be time to move into other areas to offer our support. Thanks again.

2024 has been a momentous year with Julian Assange gaining freedom in June. We give thanks the Australian cross-party delegations which took the issue to the White House. However the success was only possible on the basis of the massive worldwide support for his freedom. One group, Julian Assange Sydney Town Hall Gathering, marks 5 years of campaigning with an end of year party. Poster below. There is one more step needed though: outgoing President Biden must issue an official pardon. We hope this happens. Thank you everyone everywhere for all you've done.
