It's over 2 years since Julian Assange gained freedom. He has kept a low profile - no doubt recovering from 13 years of detainment and incarceration.

Today he posted "I'm back" with a photo of himself in Sydney, Australia. This is great news and we look forward to hearing about his focus now which involves concerns about Artificial Intelligence (AI). https://www.facebook.com/share/p/185zHx3w4E/

Two words. "I'm back."

Julian Assange shared them today, his first post in more than two years.

After 14 years, Julian returned home because millions of people like you signed, wrote, donated, marched and kept his name in the world when it would have been easier to move on.

That was you. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for following this page. The Sydney Town Hall group continues to acknowledge what Julian Assange gave to the world, every Friday afternoon, but has broadened its scope to include other whistle-blowers who are in need of support.

As we know, Julian Assange gained his freedom about 2 years ago. There is not a need to post much more on this page but we will keep the page.

Thank you for supporting Julian through his ordeal. I will check messages anyone has sent privately - and apologies for slowness in responding. And of course, Happy Birthday to Julian for today, Friday 3rd July 2026!
