so long, 2025! It's been quite a year...
this organization has seen a lot of growth and change over the past 12 months, and whether you've been with us from the start or are just getting started with beneficial insects we'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the DMVb community—our amazing volunteers, organizers, admin teams, group members, suppliers, friends and partner organizations— we feel so much gratitude to each and every person who has helped us get to where we are now. We're stepping into 2026 more inspired, empowered and excited than ever. Thank you all, again and again.

Jamie-
Jamie is one of the co-founders of DMVb. Follow her for beneficial insect deep dives, sustainable agriculture, social organizing and poetic musings.

Tessa is the best combination of dreamer and realist. She keeps DMVb balanced between healthy roots and strategic growth.
