🌨️ Introducing Do Good Wisconsin’s Snow Angel Program! ❄️

This winter, we’re launching a new initiative to help identify and support neighbors who may need a little extra help clearing snow — whether due to health issues, age, or other circumstances. 🧤

Our Snow Angel Signs are designed to raise awareness and inspire acts of kindness right in your neighborhood. If you or someone you know could use one of these signs, please fill out the short form below 👇
➡️ https://forms.gle/JUygatDnqhDT6HbM6

There is NO cost to receive these. Do Good Wisconsin will cover the cost of printing and shipping.

Please note — space is limited based on available funding, so we encourage early submissions.

Want to help us expand this program and reach more people in need this winter? 💙 You can make a donation today at www.DoGoodWisconsin.com.

Together, we can make sure no one gets left out in the cold. ☃️

To acknowledge National Good Neighbor Day, the following is a quote from Mr. Rodgers...“It’s not so much what we have in this life that matters. It’s what we do with what we have.”
Fred Rogers
So please, carve some time out of this beautiful Sunday to do something for your neighbors! It can be as small as a smile or a "Hello", or something bigger like an act of service...whatever you are willing to give.

We have been invited to join Oshkosh North High’s 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance Donation Drive and to make a difference in our Oshkosh community.

This September 11th, the amazing 9th and 10th graders from the North High Communities Program have organized a donation drive that will support local organizations including Father Carr's Place 2B, Oshkosh Area Food Pantry, Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services, and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

How You Can Help:

✅ Drop off donations at the Oshkosh Public Library or Bella Vista (see flyer for more info)

✅ Help spread the word - share this post, talk to your neighbors and friends

✅ Honor 9/11 by making it a day of unity and help others in your own way

Questions? Contact North High's Communities Program at 920 379-7458 or [email protected]

Let's show our North High students what community spirit looks like! 💙

At 2:41am this morning a person was caught on camera on Grand Street (just off of Dale) checking car doors to go through cars. They came from the south on Grand, so if you live near the area, check your cars...and always remember to lock your car doors!

We need you!!
Hello 4th Ward Neighborhood Association! I wanted to post to guage if anyone is interested in taking on leadership roles for our neighborhood association or willingness to volunteer for the greater goodness of our neighborhood. To be active we must plan an annual meeting for each year, which we usually have done in the fall but that can change. GOHNI (and the city) like to see all neighborhoods participate in Neighborhood National Night Out in early August. Lastly, in the past, we have done the Holiday Social/Decorating Contest. More and/or different things can be planned but unfortunately in prior years I have only had a small amount of people who have volunteered to help. Please let me know if you have any interest in helping out in any capacity so we can be an active neighborhood association again.

We are sad to announce that this year the neighborhood association will not be holding its Christmas lighting contest and party. A number of reasons came into factor this year but this doesn't necessarily mean the end of it. Perhaps next year everything will work out. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.
