This is Queso, and yes, he's already the cheesiest member of our rescue. 🧀
Here's the thing about this absolute unit of a Great Dane puppy: he doesn't know his story is a heavy one. He doesn't know that a kind stranger spent weeks trying to save his mama, or that she passed away when he was just 8 days old. He doesn't know that five tiny puppies arrived on Cinco de Mayo with nothing but each other and a whole lot of prayers.
All Queso knows is that the milk is warm, the cuddles are plentiful, and he's got a belly that demands round-the-clock room service.
This boy is going to be ENORMOUS. We're talking "takes up your entire couch and also your heart and also your grocery budget" enormous. Great Dane puppies don't stay puppy-sized for long — blink and he'll be eye-level with your kitchen counter, plotting his next snack heist.
He's dog-friendly, great with kids, and currently has approximately zero concept of personal space. His hobbies include sleeping, eating, sleeping again, and growing at a rate that honestly feels illegal.
We promised his mama we'd find her babies the kind of love she was searching for when that Good Samaritan found her. The forever kind. The "yes you can sleep in our bed even though you weigh 150 pounds" kind.
Think you're ready for a lifetime supply of Queso? 🐾
