Center for Ethical Land Transition is an organization dedicated to remembering and deepening our relationship with land. We are rooted in solidarity and justice and are devoted to kinship with land, the rights of nature to exist as its own entity, and land reunion, aka rematriation, for communities historically denied access to land.
We weave together different worlds through education, convening individuals working to support the land justice movement, creating blueprints that redefine conventional narratives of ownership, and facilitating land transitions that promote diverse land stewardship. We hold historical complexities and intergenerational impacts upon the communities we serve at the heart of our work.
We are excited for our work to continue to harmonize with others working in the land justice movement!
