Cub Scout Pack 226

Ripon Cub Scout Pack 226 is a family pack for kids starting in kindergarten. We meet twice a month and usually host a fun event each month.

Join us for adventure, learning, and friendships in a supportive, family-focused environment! If you love to see your child exploring the great outdoors, making friends, having fun, and developing an ethical foundation, then Cub Scouts is for you! During weekday den meetings and weekend outings, scouts participate in a huge array of activities that offer opportunities for growth, achievement, and family involvement. Our Pack's past activities have included bowling, service projects, day hikes, camping, fishing, indoor rock climbing, shooting sports, community parades, museums, Pinewood Derby, and much more! It’s fun, hands-on learning that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today and for life. Cub Scouts is for children Kinder - 5th Grade.

There’s something really special about watching a child grow in confidence, curiosity, and courage right before your eyes. That’s what Cub Scouts is all about and it only happens because of people who step up and say, “I’ll help.”

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 scout season, we’re in need of volunteers to lead dens and support our committee. These roles don’t require you to be an expert - just someone who cares, shows up, and is willing to make a difference.

The truth is, without enough volunteers, we may not be able to offer all dens next season. That’s a hard reality to face, especially knowing how much this program means to our kids - the friendships, the life skills, the sense of belonging. It matters. They remember this. Lots of wonderful core memories are made during their scouting experience.

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, this is your moment. The time commitment is real, yes, but so are the rewards. There’s nothing quite like seeing a scout light up when they learn something new, overcome a challenge, or simply feel proud of who they’re becoming.

If you have even a small spark of interest, please reach out. Let’s talk about what this could look like for you. You might just change a child’s life and yours too.

Message us to learn more. We truly need you.

Tonight marked a sweet and memorable milestone for our Arrow of Light scouts - their final den meeting as Cub Scouts. 💙

Our incredible den leader, Crystal, made it unforgettable by including a hands-on first aid demo for the entire pack, sharing skills that will stay with our scouts for a long time. And in true Cub Scout spirit, the night ended with laughter and smiles as the scouts celebrated her dedication with a whipped cream pie to the face!

As these scouts prepare to bridge into their troop this Saturday, we reflect on the leadership, growth, and memories that brought them here. While this cub scout chapter comes to a close, we’re grateful for our amazing den leader and wish her and our AOLs scouts a beautiful and memorable transition to Troop 414.

Ripon Pack 226 is a non-profit Cub Scout pack, and everything we do for our 34 scouts is made possible by volunteers and community support. We work hard to keep costs low for families, but we could always use a little help in the form of donated goods or services - no money exchanged, just generosity in action.

Right now, we’re especially looking for two 10x10 pop-up canopies to give our scouts shade during outdoor events, a portable grill to make cooking at campouts easier (and a lot more fun), and basic art and craft supplies like markers, scissors, crayons, and glue sticks for our den activities. We’d also love donated tickets to local activities - movies, festivals, pumpkin patches, baseball games — experiences that help our scouts build memories together.

If you or your business would like to support 34 amazing kids who are learning leadership, service, and life skills, please send us a message. It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful for ours. 💙

Another great night for Pack 226!

Our Scouts were busy learning new skills, building friendships, and having a whole lot of fun at tonight’s den meeting. From hands-on activities to teamwork and laughter, it’s amazing to see their confidence grow week after week.

Scouting starts at age 5, and there’s a place for every child to explore, lead, and belong. If you’ve been curious about Cub Scouts for your family, we’d love to connect with you!

We’re also always looking for caring, enthusiastic adult volunteers to help make this program possible. You don’t need prior experience - just a willingness to support our Scouts.

Send us a DM or email us at [email protected] for more information. Come see what Scouting is all about! 🐾🌟

Our Lion Cubs showed up big this morning at the Ripon Almond Blossom Run! 🌸

Bundled up, bright-eyed, and ready to go before most of us had our coffee - they braved the cold and brought the energy. These little leaders ran and walked with pride, big smiles, and even bigger hearts.

We are so proud of these Lions for showing up, stepping up, and shining bright. Way to go, Scouts! 💛👏
