Earlier this year, the Korean Broadcasting System team visited different parts of South Africa to shoot a documentary about the South African Heritage. It was both an honour and privilege to host them in Mashishimale when they visited Limpopo Province.

Seen the Koreans watch Mashishimale on their big screen brings so much joy and excitement.

CONTRALESA MOPANI REGION ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP

MOOKETSI – The Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa (Contralesa) in the Mopani Region has elected a new leadership during a regional conference held at Meloko Hall, Mooketsi on Sunday.

The conference was attended by traditional leaders from across the region, as well as key stakeholders including the Provincial Chairperson of the House of Traditional Leaders, Hosi Ngove, national representatives Taumang and Kgosi Malekane, Contralesa Limpopo representatives Prince Ramovha and Kgosi Dikgale, and ANC Regional Secretary Sonia Ngobeni.

Following the elections, the newly elected Mopani Region Contralesa leadership is:

Chairperson: Kgoshigadi Sekgopo
Deputy Chairperson: Hosi Nwamadzekudzeku
Secretary: Kgosi Sekororo
Deputy Secretary: Kgosigadi Shai
Treasurer: Kgosi Sebela
Organiser: Matome Ramohlale

The new leadership is expected to continue strengthening the role and interests of traditional leaders within the Mopani Region.
