Chase and Area Family Services is bringing not one, but TWO martial arts programs to Art Holding Arena this summer, and there's something for everyone!

Jiu-Jitsu - All Ages
Mondays all summer long
Ages 6-12: 3:30-4:30 pm
Teens and Adults (13+): 6-7:30 pm

Food scraps to soil? Yes please. 🌱
We’re excited to partner with the TNRD on this composting pilot at P̓úsme Forest. Small household changes can make a big difference by reducing landfill waste, cutting methane emissions, and helping build healthy soil right here in Chase.
This pilot project is extremely limited while we work out the logistics of bringing a compost program to Chase. We look forward to opening it up to the community in a larger way as we work our way through the pilot phase.

🌿 What a wonderful day at P̓úsme Forest! Grateful for the many helping hands that came out yesterday to get our plant ID signs distributed through the gardens.
A huge thank you to the Chase Chamber & Visitor Centre for making this project possible. Now when visitors stop by the community gardens, they can identify the plants around them and learn a little something along the way!

🍎 New in Chase: Abundance Sharing Through Gleaning! 🍎

Do you have a fruit tree or garden that produces more than you can use? We can help harvest it and redirect nutritious produce to the food bank and community members who need it.

Gleaning helps:
🍏 Reduce food waste
🐝 Support local food security
🌿 Keep fallen fruit from attracting pests
🤝 Share abundance with neighbours

We are also looking for volunteers who want to help harvest fruit and garden produce around Chase.

Garden Work Bee on Wednesdays!

Join us every Wednesday from 9:00–11:00 AM at P̓úsme Forest in Wilson Park for weekly garden work bees.

Come enjoy the garden, lend a hand, connect with others, and help care for this beautiful community space. Each week we’ll have food to share, and some weeks will include special art projects or other community projects as we move into the summer.

No gardening experience is needed, and you don’t need to commit to coming every week. Drop in when you can, bring a friend, and be part of something growing in our community.

🎨 Attention Chase businesses, organizations, & building owners, we want to hear from you!

Do you have a blank wall in the downtown core? Want to host art during this year's Art Walk? Or maybe you have your own idea for bringing more art into our community?

We're looking for partners and enthusiastic supporters to help create large-scale murals and other public art in Chase. Together we can add colour, vibrancy, and visual interest to our streets- beautifying our downtown and making Chase an even more welcoming place to live, work, and visit.
