SNUG Utica SNUG is an evidence-based violence reduction initiative, prioritizing those who are most at risk of being impacted by gun violence.

Outreach workers work with known shooters, victims and their families.

Today we took our participants to the Woodbury Commons outlets, and it was such an amazing experience. Riding together on the bus had them feeling like celebrities — laughing, vibing, and truly enjoying the moment.

We’re extremely grateful to be able to provide opportunities like this, where they can step outside their everyday environment, feel valued, and create positive memories. Seeing their smiles and hearing their excitement reminds us why we do this work. Days like today mean everything.

Today, we visited Proctor High School to distribute winter hats, gloves, and scarves to the students. The students shared that they really enjoy when we are at the school.
