In June, seven years after learning that our son Gaspard had cancer, we finally celebrated his complete remission.
For this long-awaited occasion, we gathered our closest friends to share this milestone: Gaspard is cancer free. Thank you all for standing by us over these past seven years and for being such a constant source of strength and support.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my friend , who, through her connections in the culinary world, brought to life an extraordinary masterpiece for this celebration.

This unique creation was crafted by three master chefs whom I had never met before, who do not even know Gaspard, yet generously gave their talent and time to make this piece for him and for all of us. Their desserts were not only exquisite in taste but truly breathtaking in artistry.

The work was inspired by a drawing from Angus Olsen, a father who founded I Draw Childhood Cancer after his own daughter’s diagnosis with rhabdomyosarcoma in 2016. The piece portrayed a mountain of people helping Gaspard reach his goal—becoming cancer free—symbolizing all of you who have stood with us throughout his fight. At its summit stood a chocolate bell, marking the end of this journey.

We are profoundly moved by this gesture, by your generosity, and by your kindness. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

World Cancer Day - 4th February 2025
Today, we take a moment to think of everyone impacted by cancer—those fighting with courage, the survivors who inspire us and remember those we have lost.
Cancer touches so many lives, but all together, we can bring hope, awareness, and change.
Let’s also commit to supporting those in need, and advocating for better care for all.
In December 2018, our son Gaspard was diagnosed with stage 3 high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Today, we feel incredibly grateful to have him with us, but our hearts go out to all the children still fighting and those who were taken far too soon.
Alongside Alice’s Arc and all the Arcs, we will continue our mission to raise awareness and fundraise for better treatments.

Gaspard’s Arc was founded in 2019, after our son Gaspard was diagnosed with High Risk Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer to support childhood cancer research
(https://www.alicesarc.org/arc/gaspard-ronsseray/).

More than ever, the festive period is going to be a tough time for the families dealing with cancer. Many critically-ill children will be spending Christmas isolated in hospital instead of being with their families waiting to see Santa.

Thank you for helping make this holiday season special for those who need it most.

Yesterday was World Mental Health Day,

It's a time to remember that everyone has their own struggles, whether it is professional or personal, you may not always notice that someone is experiencing issues and it does not always look the way it is in reality.
Many people put on a brave face because this is their way of fighting, their way of putting one foot in front of the other and taking it day by day. But that's not an easy task.

As a family living in the world of cancer for the past couple of years, we have experienced very difficult times and various mixed emotions from guilt, fear, anxiety, angriness, sadness but we have had no choice but to fight and to put a smile on our face to pretend everything was fine.

But so many times, I hid in a room or under the shower to cry because I did not want to cry in front of my friends or my family. You don't want to show your weakness, you just want to get it out so you can get up again. You want to be strong as there is no other way.
In the process, you often lose yourself, of who you are as an individual, a mum, a wife, a friend.
We have been very lucky and blessed to have been surrounded by an amazing community (family, friends, colleagues) who have supported us from day one and we could not be more touched and grateful. Without this amazing community, I don't know how we would have gotten the strength.

It's a day to remember that many people are struggling and have different ways to express it. We all have our own story.

Be kind to others, be supportive. They sometimes need someone to talk to but also sometimes need to just be listened to.

Also be kind to yourself. Sometimes, it is fine to take a day for yourself, just for you.

Look around you, be compassionate, give your hand to someone who needs it ❤️🤲

September childhood cancer awareness month is fast approaching 🎗️
In 2019, we founded Hope with Gaspard and decided to support Alice’s Arc a UK charity dedicated to find better treatments and raise funds to support childhood cancer research. Recently Alice’s Arc created a platform of Arcs and Hope with Gaspard then became Gaspard’s Arc alongside many other Arcs and their families. This platform aims at connecting families, supporting each others but also share ideas on how to make a better future for our children affected by cancer.
You all know by now our little boy’s story. Each Arc has their own story and we are all fighting for more treatments, more drugs, better quality of life for the children affected by cancer. They need us.
If you want to be involved, please consider updating your profile picture, sharing our posts, wearing gold during the month of September. Also, stay tuned for Alice’s Arc CCAM 2023 campaign coming soon

4 years ago today, we were told our little boy, Gaspard, 3 years old then, had cancer. Following 2 days at Chelsea Westminster Hospital and a series of tests and scans, we were rushed to Great Ormond Street Hospital to start treatment and we did not leave the hospital until almost 2 months later after numerous surgeries to stabilize Gaspard who was in very poor shape and in extreme pain.
The beginnings are the worst. You enter an unknown world with so many unanswered questions and an unimageablable fear of what may happen. For 2 years, we lived in a world that became our home, a world we are now used to.
We have met so many families who are now part of our hearts and whilst this journey has been extremely painful on the emotional and physical levels, it almost made us stronger.
Fast forward, Gaspard is now 2,5 years off treatment and thriving. He is still monitored closely for any relapse but his consultants are very optimistic about his future. We are blessed to have Gaspard with us and are living life to the fullest. We love you little tigger ❤️🙏🐅

On Friday, we distributed more than 750 toys, 30 hampers and more than 50 sweet cones to the sick children of Great Ormond Street Hospital. It was again a very emotional and beautiful moment. We cannot thank enough the kindness and generosity of all the schools we collaborated with Larmenier Sacred Heart, Wix Academy, Ste Mary’s, Jacques Prevert and l’école des petits as well as Gagosian Art Gallery, Langland and CFRA.
A massive thank you to all our families and friends who also contributed to make this day a beautiful day.
And last but not least, thank you to all my girlfriends for coming on Thursday to help sorting, packing and creating these hampers. I could not have done it without you Alex, Zoe, Zoe K, Julie, Aude, Alice, Debo, Claire, Clem, Charlotte, Alice, Julie L ❤️🙏
We will continue to support those families affected by cancer through fundraising events next year

For the fourth consecutive year, I am organizing a distribution of toys for sick children from Great Ormond Street Hospital who will spend Christmas in the hospital. Last year we collected over 1,000 toys 🎁🎅🏻🎄

In this magical time, it is important to think of others - we are all lucky to spend Christmas with our loved ones - many children affected by cancer are not so lucky and instead of waiting for Santa Claus, fight to survive.
In 2018, we went through this hard journey and the support we received allowed us to fight.

I have formed a collaboration with 8 schools in London who have come together to participate in this toy donation.

We would also like to think of the parents who will spend Christmas on the bedside of their sick child. Many of them are away from home and don't have the financial support or resources and we want to give them some support and love as well and give them little 'hampers' with some basic necessities and little gifts ❤️

Also, I created an amazon list with useful and also nice little products to tell them "we are thinking of you, we are with you".

If you want to participate, feel free. The donations are delivered directly to the house and will be distributed on December 16 by our shock team!

A little gift for a smile 🙏🎗️

Thank you all for them
