🐕‍🦺🚔 𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝟗 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐞𝐫! 🐾 🐾

K9 Sauer had a fun few days this week, showing just how quickly things can go from 0 to 100 in this line of work! 😅

We started off on that beautiful Monday by coming in early for an overtime shift. After getting in an exercise session, Sauer got to cool off with a swim! ☀️🌊🐕

But things quickly shifted from playtime to police work!

🚔 We headed over to help our partners at the Portland Police Department with a traffic stop, helping get illegal drugs off the streets.

🐾 Sauer also helped officers clear a vehicle during an assault call, making sure it was safe for officers to approach.

🚨 And finally, after responding to an alarm call at one of our local schools, Sauer got to enjoy a little playground time before the day was done! 🛝😂

From swimming and playing to serious police work and back again, Sauer never knows what the day will bring! That's all part of the job for these hardworking K9s. 💙🐕‍🦺

Mia Monday!

This past week, K9 Mia's training concentrated on vehicle searches. She worked on searching trailers, SUVs, trucks, and various other cars! After all those searches, she is in need of a bath!

Mia also hopes everyone has a great Indigenous Peoples' Day!
