We are absolutely blown away by the support for Haughton Christmas Lights this year ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came to visit and donated so generously, we raised an amazing £10,000!! 🎉🎉

That incredible total will be shared between these wonderful causes:

✨ Midlands Air Ambulance

This really is a community effort and we couldn’t do it without you all – from popping by for a look, to dropping some coins in the bucket or donating online, to spreading the word 🎅✨

SANTA WILL BE HERE FRIDAY at 5pm!!
Santa was coming tonight but doesn’t want all the children getting soaked and catching a chill so close to the big day so he has decided due to the weather he will come to the village tomorrow night!
Also with the likelihood of flooding, he would maybe need a boat instead of a sleigh !

If your coming to the village for the Christmas lights then pop in and grab a snack to keep you warm on your wanders 🥰
(Taylors is opposite the shops in Haughton!)

Please make sure you use the village bins or take your rubbish home!

🎄There is no official date/times of Haughton lights

🎄Some lights are already on.
Some will be turning on tonight, in readiness for the Tractor run tomorrow.
Some more may go on closer to Christmas.

🎄Each home will turn their lights on at different times each day, some may stay on for a few hours, some may stay on over night.

✨️Please do not park on the main road. This causes so many problems with passing traffic and is dangerous.
✨️Be careful crossing the road, do not walk out in front of cars.
✨️Dont block driveways or double park again this causes issues with people trying to get off there driveways or navigate around the village. I know parking is limited but think before you park.
✨️Please put all litter in the bins around the village or take it home dont drop it around the village.

Some lights have started going up. We have heard the lights will be on from the 6th of December. When this is confirmed we will update the page☃️🎆 🎄

Today, the 12th December, our School Christmas club pupils will be heading out to spread some Christmas joy in our community with some lovely carol singing. We will be leaving school around 4.45 and will be aiming to be at the village green at 5.10pm, Laburnum House at 5.25pm and St Giles church at 5.50pm. These times are, of course, approximate, but if you would like to pop out to hear the children singing, this will hopefully give you an idea of where to find us.
Your support would be massively appreciated.
