Projekti Kosova CAP* është projekt humanitar që ka për qëllim të ndihmojë personat që kanë nevojë për karroca, por nuk kanë mundësi t’i blejnë ato.
*CAP nënkupton kapakë plastike. Ky projekt është i vetëm i këtij lloji në Kosovë dhe ka për qëllim të ndihmojë personat me aftësi të kufizuara në vend duke ngritur në të njëjtën kohë vetëdijen e qytetarëve rreth riciklimit. Ky projekt nuk ka ndonjë da
të përfundimi. Sa më shumë kapakë që mbledhim, aq më shumë karroca do të dhurojmë. Ju të gjithë mund të ndihmoni në këtë projekt duke mbledhur kapakë nga familjarët, shoqëria dhe kolegët tuaj dhe duke i sjellur ato herë pas here në Pikat Grumbulluese. Kapakët e mbledhur mund të jenë të çfarëdo madhësie, lloji, apo ngjyre, përderisa janë të plastikës. Projekti “Kosova CAP” është një vazhdimësi e projektit të ngjashëm që është realizuar me sukses në Turqi, i iniciuar nga studenti kosovar Kushtrim Ahmeti. Momentalisht, Green Club (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Green-Club/374422522583618) së bashku me Klubin për Bamirësi në AUK (http://www.facebook.com/ChartiyClub) bëjnë mbledhjen e kapakëve të plastikës në Kosovë, kujdesen për mbarëvajtjen e transportit të kapakëve nga Kosova në Turqi, sigurimin e karrocave nga atje dhe transportin e tyre tek personat të cilët kanë nevojë për to. Kapakët e mbledhur në Kosovë do të transportohen tek një kompani e riciklimit dhe në këmbim të kapakëve porositen karrocat nga kompania Gjermane Otto Bock Wheelchairs. Bashkëpunëtorët dhe sponzorët e projektit pastaj e kryjnë transportin e kapakëve dhe karrocave nga dhe për në Kosovë.

Kosova Cap Project is a charity based project which aims to help people who need but cannot afford buying wheelchairs. KCP will collect and recycle plastic caps as a source to provide wheelchairs for people with disabilities. Kosova Cap Project is the first of its kind in Kosovo and it aims to help people with disabilities around Kosovo by raising awareness about recycling and community service at the same time. This project has no end date. The more caps we collect, the more wheelchairs we will donate. You can all help in this project by collecting caps from family, friends and your colleagues and bringing them at the collection points. Collected caps can be of any size, type, or color, as long as they are plastic. In order to make arrangements for the transportation of collected caps, please contact us via message in this page or via email in [email protected]. KCP is a continuity of the successful cap project that has started and is successfully operating in Turkey, initiated by Kushtrim Ahmeti, a Kosovar student in Izmir. Currently, Green Club (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Green-Club/374422522583618) and AUK Charity Club (http://www.facebook.com/ChartiyClub) coordinate the collection of plastic caps in Kosovo, their transport from Kosovo to Turkey, and the delivery of wheelchairs to people who need them. The collected caps in Kosovo are transported in Turkey to a recycling company known as Muzaffer Pınarbaşı İşletmeleri. Afterwards the wheelchairs are ordered to a German company Otto Bock Wheelchairs. KCP’s partners and sponsors afterwards enable the transportation of caps from Kosovo to Turkey and delivering the wheelchairs in Kosovo.
