Q’ART MIRËPRET ZHVILLIMET NË TURIZËM DHE BËN THIRRJE PËR BASHKËPUNIM

Q’art – Qendra për Zhvillim të Artit mirëpret iniciativat e fundit për zhvillimin e turizmit në Kryeqytet dhe themelimin e Drejtorisë së Turizmit si një hap të rëndësishëm drejt një qasjeje më të strukturuar dhe afatgjatë në këtë sektor.

Megjithatë, duke marrë parasysh zhvillimet konkrete në terren gjatë më shumë se një dekade, vlerësojmë se është e rëndësishme që strategjitë e reja të reflektojnë në mënyrë sa më të plotë realitetin e krijuar nga komuniteti artistik dhe sektori i pavarur kulturor.

Q’art, përmes angazhimit të vazhdueshëm në zhvillimin e artit në hapësira publike, organizimit të festivaleve ndërkombëtare dhe ndërtimit të rrjeteve globale, ka kontribuar drejtpërdrejt në pozicionimin e Prishtinës si një nga qendrat më aktive të street-art në rajon. Përmes këtyre iniciativave, kryeqyteti është shndërruar në një galeri të hapur urbane dhe është bërë pjesë e shumë hartave dhe publikimeve ndërkombëtare për street-art dhe kulturë urban.

Përkundër këtij kontributi, konsiderojmë se njohja institucionale e këtyre vlerave dhe integrimi i tyre në politikat publike mbetet i pamjaftueshëm.

Q’art ka qenë dhe do të mbetet e angazhuar për të kontribuar si në proceset e hartimit të strategjive, por sidomos në zhvillimin e infrastrukturës dhe platformave funksionale për turizmin kreativ në Kryeqytet.

Në këtë fazë të re të zhvillimit të turizmit, e shohim si një mundësi të mirë që të përfshihen organizatat aktive të kulturës dhe komuniteti artistik, si dhe që sektori i pavarur të trajtohet si një vlerë e rëndësishme zhvillimore e qytetit.

Po ashtu, besojmë se turizmi kreativ, përmes artit dhe kulturës urbane, përbën një nga asetet më të veçanta të Kryeqytetit dhe se kjo vlerë mund të zhvillohet edhe më tej duke u harmonizuar me praktikat inovative dhe bashkëpunuese.

Prishtina tashmë ka një bazë të ndërtuar në këtë drejtim, me mbi 10 vite angazhim. Sfida tani është që kjo vlerë të njihet, të strukturohet dhe të zhvillohet më tej përmes politikave të qëndrueshme dhe bashkëpunimit të mirëfilltë ndërmjet institucioneve dhe akterëve në terren.

Në të njëjtën kohë, e shohim si zhvillim pozitiv krijimin e strukturave të reja për turizmin në nivel kombëtar dhe shpresojmë në një bashkëpunim të koordinuar ndërmjet nivelit lokal dhe atij qendror.

Q’art mbetet e hapur për bashkëpunim dhe kontribut profesional në këtë proces, me qëllim që zhvillimi i turizmit në Kryeqytet të ndërtohet mbi vlerat ekzistuese dhe të krijojë një model të qëndrueshëm për të ardhmen.

OPEN CALL: Become a Certified Street-Art Guide in Prishtina

PRN Urban Walks is launching an open call for a new generation of urban local guides for the region of Prishtina.

We are looking for passionate, creative young people who want to explore, understand, and share Prishtina’s street art, culture and city stories through guided experiences.

Selected participants will take part in a professional training program covering Prishtina’s history, heritage, storytelling and guiding techniques, followed by a PRN Urban Walks program focused on street art and urban culture.

The training and certification will be delivered in collaboration with GUIDEKS, the only certified association for local and national guides in Kosovo.

Your journey includes:
• Structured training program and literature
• Professional mentoring
• Official local guide certification from GUIDEKS
• Training in PRN Urban Walks tour methods, routes and storytelling
• Opportunity to work as a guide within PRN Urban Walks and other tourism operators.



Important:
A limited number of participants will be selected for fully funded training and certification by Q’art.

Applicants not selected for full free training sessions by Q’art, can still join the program at a reduced fee through a GUIDEKS collaboration offer.

Who can join:
• Young people (approx. 18–35)
• Passionate about art, culture, history or the city
• Interested in communication, storytelling, and working with people
• Motivated to become part of a new urban tourism initiative
• Students or graduates in art, architecture, history or related fields are encouraged to apply

After 10 years of building, painting, organizing and believing, Q’art stood at the Medellín Street Art Festival to share the story of a decade of street art in Prishtina.

From a small city with a bold vision to Medellín, a city layered with identity, culture, and raw urban energy.

We spoke about how walls became platforms. 
How public space became ours.
How a community of volunteers, writers, dreamers and artists transformed a scene and shaped a city’s image through creativity.

From taking the street without permission in 2017 nto representing a decade of movement on an international stage.

This is what street art does.

It connects. It empowers. It challenges. It builds families across continents.

Street-Art for Creative Tourism

A new chapter for Prishtina's culture and tourism begins!

Q’art is turning over a decade of street art into an interactive urban tourism platform, combining AR murals, guided walks and hands-on creative industry workshops. This project brings together young artists, designers, storytellers and guides to reshape the city’s street vibe and open new ways for visitors to connect and explore with Prishtina.

This initiative transforms Prishtina’s public spaces into creative tourism hotspots through a combination of innovative AR murals, interactive guided tours and youth-led workshops in production and prototyping. For the first time, artistic products and souvenirs dedicated to Prishtina’s creative tourism will be developed through these workshops. A group of young guides will also be certified, forming the city’s first generation of urban tourism guides. Through these activities, the project strengthens Prishtina’s urban cultural identity and lays the foundation for a platform that will continue to grow and evolve.

Soon, you’ll explore walls that speak, dive into stories behind the sprays and experience Prishtina’s street soul through guided tours, digital layers and local voices.

On December 23, history was written. 10 YEARS · PRN WALLS opened as a showcase bringing together a full decade of Q’art’s activism, art, and collective effort to transform Prishtina’s walls and public spaces.

The exhibition unfolded across multiple spaces, improvised in Q’art’s style to reflect the raw spirit of street art.

Inside, the exhibition continued across a space wrapped in plastic as a statement layer, presenting 10 years of festivals, artists’ works, and artifacts gifted to Q’art, including works created during festivals and residencies, as well as pieces offered as gestures of friendship, trust, and belonging. At the same time, an open air chronological visual journey traced Q’art’s activism through a decade of interventions, projects, and movements across the city.

This was not a standard curated exhibition. It was a gathering point for artists, graffiti writers, activists, collaborators, and friends who have walked this path with Q’art for 10 years, shaping not only walls, but communities, styles, and urban culture. The evening continued with DJ set for a moment of reflection, connection and collective joy.

The night also marked two important milestones.
The launch of PRN Urban Walks, a new platform for guided urban tours that reads the city through its walls, and the release of the book CITY WALLS PRN, a historical document capturing the story of street art in Prishtina.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our main supporters, Embassy of Switzerland in Kosovo as the main donor of this project and the Kryeqyteti Prishtina, whose continuous support has made this journey and this milestone possible.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this movement, on the walls, behind the scenes and in the streets.

This is not the end of a chapter, but proof of what collective action can leave behind.

For the first time, a full decade of Q’art’s impact on Prishtina’s walls comes together in one open-air showcase.

Through printed stands in the Ulpiana artists’ neighborhood, now home of BOX01, the exhibition traces 10 years of street art: the artists, the walls, the moments, and the movement that shaped the city’s visual identity.

Each stand represents one year, documenting how small interventions grew into iconic murals, international collaborations, festivals, and a strong urban art community.

More than an exhibition, 10 YEARS · PRN WALLS is an archive, a reflection, and a celebration of how walls became stories.

Q’art me krijimtari të reja për artin urban të Prishtinës.

Q’art ka nisur një kapitull të ri me lansimin e programit për turizëm kreativ, një nismë që ndërlidh artin urban dhe krijimet artistike, duke ndërtuar një platformë për turizëm urban dhe për zhvillim profesional dhe kulturor në zemër të Prishtinës.

Këtë edicion u realizuan me sukses dy punëtori kreative që sollën energji të re në skenën krijuese:

Dizajni i Qëndisjes-Embroidery Design, një teknikë tradicionale e adoptuar në formë bashkëkohore për të kthyer ilustrimet artistike në produkte kreative nga tekstili. Punëtoria është udhëhequr me përkushtim nga Tringa Selmani, themeluese e kompanisë Spinningwool.

Punëtoria për dizajn të afisheve-Sticker Design, në këtë punëtori pjesëmarrësit krijuan dizajne origjinale të frymëzuara nga kultura urbane dhe i prodhuan ato si afishe-sticker-a të gatshëm për të lënë gjurmë nëpër hapesira të ndryshme urbane. Kjo punëtori është udhëhequr nga Taulant Qerkini – TAK, profesor në Fakultetin e Arteve të Universitetit të Prishtinës.

Këto dy punëtori jo vetëm që kanë kontribuar në rrjetëzim dhe fuqizim të pjesëmarrësve me aftësi konkrete, por treguan se turizmi kreativ është më shumë se një ide, është realitet në rritje dhe është misioni afatgjatë i Q’art.

Një falënderim i veçantë për Embassy of Switzerland in Kosovo për mbështetjen e kësaj nisme kaq të nevojshme për gjeneratat e reja kreative, që po ndërtojnë vetë të ardhmen e tyre nëpërmjet artit dhe turizmit kreativ.

Ky aktivitet fillon më 26 Shtator 2025 dhe vazhdon çdo të premte nga ora 15:00 - 19:00 në galerinë e arteve urbane BOX01.

Po i hapim dyert për të gjithë adhuruesit e graffiti-t dhe skicimit!

Çdo të premte, po mblidhemi me skicu së bashku në një hapësirë të hapur dhe kreative, të udhëhequr nga vetë komuniteti.

Çfarë ofrojmë për ju:

1. Materiale bazë falas: lapsa, markerë, letra për skicim.

2. Mundësi për tu njoftuar me artistë ndërkombëtarë dhe për të ndarë përvoja mes vete.

3. Hapësirë mikpritëse për të gjithë, si për fillestarë ashtu edhe për artistë me përvojë

Vërejtje: Këto nuk janë seanca trajnimi.
Janë takime të hapura për skicim kolektiv ku bëhemi së bashku në një hapësirë për të krijuar art dhe për të shkëmbyer ide.

Q’art comes with a new initiative – Writers Bench.

The activity starts on October 17, 2025, and continues every Friday from 15:00 to 19:00 at the street-art gallery BOX01.

We’re opening the doors to all graffiti and sketching enthusiasts!

Every Friday, we gather to sketch together in an open and creative space, led by the community itself.

What we offer:

1. Free basic materials: pencils, markers, sketching book

2. Opportunities to connect with international artists and share experiences between each others

3. A welcoming space for everyone, both beginners and experienced artists

Note: These are not training sessions.
They are open sketching meetups where we come together in a creative space to create art and exchange ideas.
