UA |EN 🇺🇦 $587.7 billion - that's how much Ukraine's recovery needs in the next 10 years.

The World Bank together with the Government of Ukraine, the EU and the UN have published the fifth assessment of damages and needs (RDNA5). The numbers are impressive, but they also indicate the unprecedented scale of opportunities for global partnerships.

Only for 2026, urgent needs are $15.25 billion. Obviously, only state funds or donor assistance is not enough. The report clearly states: provided with correct reforms, the private sector is able to cover up to 40% of all reconstruction needs.

ReBuild Ukraine is the same platform where these 40% turn into real contracts and projects. We unite international capital, state and Ukrainian communities to act today.

Ukraine has received the EU accession benchmarks for the final three negotiating clusters – “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth,” “Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity,” and “Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion Policy” – completing the full set of requirements for membership!

Earlier, in December, Ukraine was provided with benchmarks for three other clusters: “Fundamentals,” “Internal Market,” and “External Relations.”

This marks a major milestone in Ukraine’s European integration. The next steps are the successful closure of all clusters and the signing of the Accession Treaty – the final stage toward full EU membership.

Ukraine will continue implementing reforms, fulfilling its commitments, and reporting progress to the EU 🇺🇦🇪🇺

In a public interview for "Nova Kraina," a joint project of LB.ua and EFI Group, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasised the struggle between the concepts of a multilateral world and a multipolar world:

💬 “We are engaged in a struggle between two concepts: a multilateral world and a multipolar world. Russia, in fact, is trying to impose a multipolar world – that is, a world of spheres of influence, a world of a second Yalta, a world of Munich.

And we, Ukraine, must find our rightful place based on our national interest and the role of our state. Міністерство розвитку громад та територій України ( Альона Шкрум ) provided shocking statistics that explain why rebuilding Ukraine is the biggest infrastructure challenge (and market) since World War II.

Comparison of the scale of destruction (funding needs): 🇵🇸 Gaza sector: ~$49 billion (last year). 🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina: ~ $ 70 billion (total consequences of the war). 🇺🇦 Ukraine: $524 billion (129 billion only for 2025 year! the current rate of the world bank).

Priorities of rebuilding: the government has determined a clear consistency of financing through the system DREAM:
⚡️ Energy: The restoration of generation and protection of objects is a condition for the survival of the economy.
🚛 Logistics: Transport industry (roads, railways, ports) to provide export.
🏠 Housing Provision: Large-scale reconstruction of Ukrainian homes.

Conclusion for Partners: The scale of $524 billion makes Ukraine the biggest construction site in the world for the coming decades. A place for international players here is guaranteed by the scope of work.
