This sweet lady was fit with an above knee prosthesis two weeks ago! She has progressed to the point where she was able to use a single crutch! She has a lava lava wrapped around her waist for security! Afterwords she complained that she had no gift to give me in thanks! I said seeing her walk was the greatest gift she could ever give me. After a tearful goodbye we drove away. I will miss these sweet special moments!

We fit this gentleman with a prosthetic leg today! He is a minister of his church and was already walking with crutches. He followed coaching very well and was walking quite well after a few minutes

This organization has been successful in supplying prosthetics in Fiji and now in Vanuatu to the tune of 30 per month! And doing so with very basic equipment! Notice the hand belt sander bolted to the Table!

We fit this Matai (village chief)back in June and did a follow up today. He was walking within a week without any issues/crutches back then! However he was hit by a police car while sitting by the side of the road that broke his other good leg. The cast is off now and he is partially weight bearing on his good leg. These Savaiian Samoans are tough and resilient!!
