Life is full of surprises and the world, despite the many hardships we face, continues to provide us with people whose intentions are genuine and with hearts made of gold.

Today, SENESE was honoured and privileged to have been visited by our Miss Samoa Hawaii and her delegation. What a humbling experience it was for staff and some of our very own children who represented the very children we serve. Fa'afetai tele i lau Afioga i le Tausala o Samoa mai Hawaii mo lau faaaloalo aemaise o le amana'ia. Your presence was truly a special gift for all of us. Fa'afetai i le Atua ona o oe aemaise o avanoa tāua ua Ia saunia.
Manuia tele au tapenaga uma mo le faamoemoe i le vaiaso fou. We are behind you all the way. Best of luck to you and may God be your Guide in all your preparations for the upcoming pageant.

Love and best wishes,
Your SENESE family

That's What Friends Are For 🙌

Dr.Carmel Johnson-Sang first visited SENESE last year on a different purpose. After she was introduced to our services and met the students, the visit meant more to her. From that time, she promised she would visit with some resources for the students. Earlier this year, that promised became a reality when she visited with some sensory resources. Today, she and friends popped in again with more sensory resources.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Carmel Sang for this useful donation that will surely help our students focused and learn🧸📚

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, kindness, and support of our services.Thank you Dr.Ulai Tapa Fidow for connecting us with such great friends until next time.God bless.

E afua mai mauga manuia o nu’u.
Today our team visited the Home for the Aged at Mapuifagalele, conducting hearing screening and testing for our residents there for the very first time. The initiative came as a result of a request from one of the Sisters, who saw the need for our elderly people to receive such service. Out of the 40 screened, 8 of them were fitted with hearing aid devices, again for the first time. These devices help them hear again and improve daily communication with others. Naomi Asi, our Hearing Services Coordinator wants this to be an ongoing service offered by SENESE as our way of giving back to our community especially our elders. We express gratitude to Professor Philip and our Partners for supporting the work that SENESE does for the people with hearing loss in Samoa.
