What an incredible and empowering evening! Last night’s Tofa Sinasina INC Awareness Program was a powerful success, bringing together over 70 participants dedicated to strengthening our community and raising vital awareness.

> Fa’afetai tele lava to everyone who was with us yesterday as Tofasinasina closed our Forum on a high note.
> After 3 days of Awareness + Forum I was too exhausted to post last night, but I had to say thank you to all our participants who showed up and gave their time, energy, and hearts.
> Special fa’afetai to Afioga Deacon Falaniko Tamiano, Victim Support Group + Afioga Ruta Masinalupe, Goshen Trust Mental Health, Samoa, Teachers & Year 12 students from Levaula Methodist College Faleula, and Afioga Seiuli Pito Opetaia + SUNGO staff.
> And to our survivor — thank you for sharing your story with courage. You felt safe, and you reminded us all why this work matters.

📸 Glimpses from today’s Community Awareness initiative: Restoring the Vā & Healing our Communities.

Today’s event was a powerful, moving success. Yet, the data and stories shared serve as a sobering reminder of the urgent work ahead for mental health and su***de prevention in Samoa. Together, we are standing up to bring light and healing to our families and villages.

We extend our deepest faafetai tele to Dr. Taralina Gae'e-Atefi for sharing her profound wisdom and clinical insights. May the Good Lord continue to guide her vital work and bless her service to our country.
