We visited a Christian ministry to see how we might partner together, celebrated Easter with our adopted church here in Port Vila, hosted several Scripture Resource Nights, filed our taxes, and got our yearly physicals done.

That's why you haven't heard from us. But we're still here! Our flight today from North Pentecost to the capital got moved to tomorrow. Our flight on May 5th to the US got moved to the 7th 🤦🏼‍♀️

In the meantime, we've been living life with our translators and their families ❤️ Here Matt is showing everyone a card trick based on math.

Our flight home has been cancelled due to rising fuel prices. Fiji Airways says they will work to find another route but 🫤

Tonight is our first Scripture Resource Night here in Port Vila.

We hope to share digital and print Scripture resources with people who speak any of the 100+ languages spoken by the 300,000 people who call Vanuatu home.

We have spread the word the best we know how but honestly, we have no idea if people will show up or not. If God brings ONE person who doesn't have Scripture in their heart language each of the 4 nights, I will be so so happy.

But of course, we are asking for God to do much more for His glory.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

We are just two little people trying to use the time God has given us in Port Vila for Him ❤️

Praise!
In the newsletter we just sent out yesterday, we said we were at 90% of our monthly budget. I just found out that we are now at 93% of our monthly budget! Two generous friends had increased their giving without my knowledge ☺️ We are now only $325 a month from being fully funded.

It's really not about the numbers. It's about the story behind each gift. It's about the people who give to God through our ministry. People in their 20's through people in their 90's. Close family and people we've only briefly met. People we see often when we are in the States and people we haven't seen in person in over a decade. And for some reason God blesses us through them by their care for us and Vanuatu.

This morning I am just full of praise to God and thanks to everyone who stands beside us ❤️
