The Weldys with Pioneer Bible Translators

Thank you to everyone who has been praying! Unfortunately, Matt had to pay our visa fees today. The total was approximately $2,608. A generous donor has already given $300. If you would like to give a gift toward this unexpected expense, please click the photo below to go to our giving page.
Hopefully we will be on a plane to Pentecost in less than 48 hours!

Thank you for being so generous. Your donation will not only help support the ministry of Matt and Angie Weldy – but you will also help bring God’s Word to

The Weldy's September Newsletter -

If you haven’t seen our page recently, we have been having a rough time. I’d like to sugarcoat it, but I just don’t have the energy to do that.

I never loved the Old Testament like I have since I started using the Bible Recap last year.
Today (yes, a couple days late) I started the New Testament. If you want to join me, just go to thebiblerecap.com/start. It also helps if you get a buddy to keep you accountable 😉

A beautiful day of open Bibles, worship, laughter, and a snack on the way to the grocery store 😉

You know that job that really isn't that bad but for some reason you just hate doing it?
Mine is e-filing our medical bills. See that pile of papers in the back left corner? That's just this month. And it's just mine, not Matt's. It takes like 30 minutes but I'm always afraid I'm going to do it wrong. I'm thankful we have good insurance now, but I really wanted to be able to just walk in, flash a card, and not think about it again.
Someone make me feel better - what small but seemingly terrible job you have to convince yourself to do?

I got my Ocrevus today! For all the work it took to get it, the appointment was only like an hour. Thank you again for praying. Now we can just let the medicine work for about 4 months before we start thinking about it again.
We got a big downpour but walked to the market anyway to buy tomatoes, capsicum, basil and cabbage. The flowers were gorgeous today 💕
We still have some work to do this afternoon before the weekend. Happy Friday everyone!

Praise God! 🎉 My medicine has been released from customs and is now at my doctor's office. I will get my Ocrevus on Friday. Thank you to everyone who prayed!
We are still working on our visas so please keep praying for those. We can't find a flight to Pentecost until next weekend anyway so we have some time. Two steps forward and one step back sometimes but right now I'm just thankful for one issue getting solved ☺️

Just a handful of the many buildings we've visited (some multiple times) over the past two weeks here in Port Vila. We are still trying to get our visas renewed and Angie's MS medicine released from customs. Many people have been very helpful and we are thankful.
Please pray that BOTH issues are resolved by Tuesday so we can fly to Pentecost on Wednesday.
Unless God has other plans, of course ☺️

I take pictures of everything. But mostly food, animals, and kids 🥰
