🕊️ A Tribute and Condolence Message for Late Nana Pua Anti Vekarae Noman Melelivo
23 September 2026 — A Day We Will Always Remember
With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we acknowledge the passing of one of our beloved mothers and respected community leaders, Late Nana Pua Anti Vekarae Noman Melelivo, whom God called home to rest on 23 September 2026.
Her departure is a great loss to the Melelivo family, her relatives, the Tangoa Jaraku community, and everyone whose life she touched. Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we also give thanks to God for the life she lived and for the many years He allowed us to have her among us.
Nana Pua was more than a mother and grandmother. She was a role model, a woman of respect, responsibility, compassion, and service. Her life spoke through the way she cared for people, welcomed others, supported families, and looked after the needs of those around her.
As a Chief’s wife, she carried a position of great respect and responsibility within the community. She understood the importance of caring for people, showing respect, listening to others, and helping to maintain peace and unity. Her presence brought dignity and strength to her family and community.
She was also a faithful member of the Presbyterian Women’s Mission Union (PWMU), where she contributed through her faith, service, and commitment. Her Christian life and willingness to serve others will remain an example for the generations coming behind her.
To us, especially young mothers today, Nana Pua was a living example of what it means to be a strong woman who cares for her family and community. She showed that motherhood is not only about raising our own children, but also about opening our hearts to other children, supporting families, and caring for the wider community.
She had a special heart for the children and young people of the community. She cared for the lives of many children and supported them in different ways. The love, encouragement, and concern she showed toward them will not easily be forgotten. The children will miss her. The mothers will miss her. The community will miss her.
Nana Pua taught us through her life that respect must be shown, responsibility must be carried, and love must be shared. Her legacy is not only in the words she spoke, but in the lives she touched and the people she helped along the way.
🕊️ To the Melelivo Family and Relatives
Our deepest condolences go to the Melelivo family, her children, grandchildren, relatives, and loved ones during this very difficult time.
May God surround you with His comfort and give you strength as you mourn the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, auntie, and relative.
May the memories of her love, kindness, wisdom, service, and dedication bring comfort to your hearts. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the legacy she leaves behind will continue to speak through the lives of those she touched.
🕊️ To the Tangoa Jaraku Community
We also extend our heartfelt condolences to all members of the Tangoa Jaraku community.
Today, we mourn together as one community. We have lost a mother, a respected woman, a Chief’s wife, a PWMU member, a caregiver, and a role model.
Let us continue to support one another, especially the Melelivo family, during this season of grief. Let us remember Nana Pua not only with tears, but also with gratitude for the life she lived and the love she shared with us.
Rest peacefully, Nana Pua Anti Vekarae Noman Melelivo.
Your work here on earth has touched many lives.
Your kindness will be remembered.
Your service will be remembered.
Your love for the community will be remembered.
Your example will continue to guide us.
> “Well done, good and faithful servant…” — Matthew 25:21
May the Lord receive you into His eternal rest, and may He comfort and strengthen the entire Melelivo family, relatives, and Tangoa Jaraku community.
Mo lukim yu bakegen, Nana Pua. 🕊️❤️
Rest in peace until we meet again.
