We're four young enthusiasts in an adult-run world. " Yen " in Hung Yen means peace. Questions.

In case you don't know, Hung Yen has always been our beloved hometown ever since we were born. Yet, a dangerous silence is reigning our town, as a preference to conform to conventional ideas is still prevalent among the youth. That's why these four personalities, four distinctive egos and perspectives, yet fueled by a similar desire; are yearning to set a milestone for an exceptional change in thi

s locality. To come clean, we are not especially enthusiastic about anything in life. Rather, our young minds goes for something progressively obscure, fundamental and intriguing; something called questions. Not just Hung Yen itself, the world, in general, is asking itself less and less. Have we ever posed a question, would we rather sacrifice the mischievous discovery that lies within the questions themselves and come up with an immediate answer? Why isn't everyone do anything? Why does life feel joyless? How can we express ourselves in our own language? What is happening inside our head? Raising such questions, we are eager to do something different, completely different, to join something that gives us an opportunity for a voice, to speak our passion and be heard by people around our area. And that's how our TEDx conference was born, with the name 𝐓𝐞𝐝𝐱𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡@𝐋𝐨𝐍𝐨𝐢𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞
Through this event, we do not seek to answer those questions, but to raise questions like these among the local youth. Unconstrained by deep-rooted societal norms, youth can come up with ideas that would not have crossed the minds of more world-weary adults, and engaging them now will inspire a generation of lifelong changemakers. So that, in the spirit of ideas worth spreading, 𝐓𝐞𝐝𝐱𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡@𝐋𝐨𝐍𝐨𝐢𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 not only promises to be of service to the youth as well as any enthusiasts in the locality that are seeking for a way to find the path to their own problems, but also invite young people to the decision-making table where their voices will truly be heard and recognized.
