RMIT Vietnam Sustainability is one of Viet Namโ€™s leading pioneers in driving sustainable development through education, community engagement, and industry collaboration.

On August 5, the Sustainability Impact Challenge (SIC) 2025, in partnership with the Sustainability Ambassadors Program (SAP) of RMIT Vietnam Sustainability, held its third soft skills training session: โ€œ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ค๐ž๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโ€.

The guest speaker, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐žฬ‚ฬƒ๐ง ๐‡๐จ๐šฬ€๐ง๐  ๐’๐จฬ›๐ง, shared practical lessons from his 14 years of experience in companies like Unilever, Central Retail, PNJ, and many startups. His session helped teams move past surface-level ideas and look at how to take action in real situations.

On 22 July, the final stop of the SIC Round 2 company tour brought our student teams to ๐๐š๐ง๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐œโ€™๐ฌ ๐–๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž, a place where circular thinking comes to life and sustainability is built into every stage of the product lifecycle.

Students gained valuable insights into how Panasonic puts circularity into practice through smart operations and local collaboration. ๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐žโ€™๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐:
๐Ÿ”‘ Gained insights into how Panasonic assesses returned products to enable responsible reuse, refurbishment, or disposal โ€” minimising waste and enhancing circular resource use.
๐Ÿ”‘ Discovered how Panasonic works with local vendors to refurbish products and responsibly handles severely damaged ones, showing a real-world example of circularity in action.
