Founded in 2007 with the Core Team consisting of seven talented Vietnamese high school students from Vietnam, Singapore and the United States, TOUCH has grown significantly since the past few years. Our network extends to 50 permanent members (30% boarding overseas), and 200 past-project members from the South East Asian nations. TOUCH is not only about individuals. With this in mind, we hope all
the people who help us with 'touching' and those who are 'touched” can share one special feeling in common: the secure sensation of giving and receiving something invaluable, the circle of friendship and the warmth of care. Over the last years of operation, since 2008, with our ''Cultural Exchange'' Project as the debut ,we have connected a solid network of young, talented and ambitious young students coming from different backgrounds and regions from all walks of life, to inspire them to be well-rounded and useful future leaders. One of TOUCH's traditional activities is the annual Leadership Camp taking place during summer holiday. Campers are isolated from the outer hectic environment for 3 days, 2 nights. They are pushed to their limit so that they get a chance to acknowledge their inner capability as well as their weakness reflected through participation in educational games and workshops. From that, the mentors are trained to provide suggestions to these students to alleviate their problems. All of the recruitment and application processes are done in English. Since 2011,we have decided to make English as the only communicational language during TOUCH camp period. The reason behind this is that over the past years, we have come to realize that most of our campers can speak brilliant English, however, they have not yet had the opportunities to show off the awesome talents. We are proud that TOUCH has been trusted and featured in many prestigious schools in Ho Chi Minh city such as School for the Gifted, Le Hong Phong, Tran Dai Nghia and so on, in conjunction with several teenage magazines. Our official partners include: High school for the gifted, HCMC, Vietnam (2008-present), Anglo-Chinese Independent School, Singapore (2008), SEAChange Campaign (2009), Soft Skill Club of the International University HCMC (2009-present)
