Today, the Vanuatu Students Association in Ho Chi Minh City proudly came together to celebrate the 46th Independence Anniversary of our beloved nation.
During the celebration, we had the opportunity to hear inspiring remarks from our Student President, followed by a meaningful address from our Education Attaché. In his speech, he reflected on the importance of leadership, unity, commitment, resilience, and the sacrifices made by those who came before us. He reminded us that Vanuatu's independence was achieved through determination and the collective efforts of our people. He also encouraged us, as students studying abroad, to uphold these values, support one another, and strive to become responsible leaders who will contribute positively to the future of our nation.

The event also gave us the opportunity to reflect on and share our knowledge of Vanuatu's history while strengthening the bonds of friendship through an interactive quiz, the ceremonial cake cutting,
enjoyable games, laughter, and the sharing of food.
These moments reminded us that Independence Day is not only about remembering our nation's journey to freedom but also about celebrating the values that continue to shape Vanuatu: unity, resilience, respect, and community.
As Ni-Vanuatu students studying Ho Chi Minh City, we are proud to represent our country with dignity and purpose. We remain committed to pursuing our education, supporting one another, and contributing to the future development of Vanuatu.
We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped organize this memorable celebration and to all who attended. Your presence made this occasion truly special.

Happy 46th Independence Anniversary, Vanuatu! 🇻🇺❤️💛💚

Today, the Association of Vanuatu Students in Ho Chi Minh City was honored to participate in the Food Stories Festival at HUTECH University, a wonderful event that brought together cultures from around the world through the universal language of food.

Representing Vanuatu was a privilege, allowing us to proudly share our culture, traditions, and hospitality while learning from the unique heritage of other participating countries. The festival was a meaningful celebration of cultural diversity, friendship, and international unity, creating lasting memories and strengthening connections among students and communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to HUTECH University, the organizing committee, volunteers, and everyone who visited our booth for your warm support and encouragement throughout the day.

A very special thank you goes to our Education Attaché, Mr. Robbie, and his colleagues from the Vanuatu Consulate General Office for taking the time to visit, support, and encourage us. Your presence and continued commitment to supporting Ni-Vanuatu students abroad mean a great deal to our community, and we are truly grateful for your guidance and encouragement.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our Executive Committee for your dedication, teamwork, and hard work in organizing and representing our association throughout the event. Your commitment behind the scenes made today's participation possible.

Finally, to every member and volunteer who participated, gave their time, shared our culture with pride, and contributed to making this event a success—thank you. Your enthusiasm, cooperation, and team spirit truly reflected the values of our Vanuatu community.

We are proud to have represented Vanuatu and look forward to participating in many more events that celebrate cultural exchange, friendship, and unity.

What an unforgettable day! ❤️

Two of our students alongside our President were delighted to help Public Relations Students from HUTECH University to a special cultural cooking workshop, where the students had the opportunity to discover and prepare traditional dishes from Vanuatu especially the Kornas and the Tanna Soup.

From learning new recipes to sharing stories, laughter, and traditions, this day was a wonderful reminder that food is a universal language that connects people beyond borders.

A heartfelt thank you to all the students in Public Relations of HUTECH University for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to embrace our culture. Your participation made this day truly meaningful.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Education Attaché Mr Robbie Iauko , our executive committee, our volunteers, and everyone who helped make this cultural exchange possible.

Together, we celebrated diversity, strengthened friendships, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Here's to many more moments of learning, sharing, and growing together!

See you guy's on the 18th of July for the Food Stories Event!!!

Quelle magnifique journée de partage ! ❤️

Today, we had the opportunity to attend a productive meeting between the Association of Vanuatu Students in Ho Chi Minh City, the President and Vice President of the Association, the Assistant from the Consulate Office of Vanuatu, representatives from HUTECH University, and their third-year Public Relations students.

The meeting focused on planning the upcoming cultural event on July 18th, which will bring together 15 different countries, including Vanuatu, to showcase and celebrate their unique cultures and traditions. The discussion centered on event preparations, collaboration, and promoting cultural exchange to ensure a successful and meaningful celebration.

After the meeting, our hosts kindly gave us a tour of the HUTECH University campus, including the library and study rooms. It was a great opportunity to explore the university's learning environment while strengthening connections among all participants.

We look forward to celebrating the diversity of cultures and sharing the beauty of Vanuatu with everyone on 18 July 2026!
