On September 3rd, 2011 Volunteer Tour Guide club (V.T.G club) was established by five enthusiastic and ambitious students ( find more information about V.T.G club, please click http://www.facebook.com/VolunteerTourGuide). Our activity purposes to bring Vietnamese culture by free tour combine with voluntary activities (help H.I.V woman and poor children in South Vietnam) and servicing home-stay. V.
T.G shorted for Volunteer tour G, and G has meaning:
Guide (tour guide)
Gamboling people (interesting volunteers)
Gadabouts ( wandering people)
The idea comes from, first, our desire to bring friendly tourism environment for all people, share and help community via those actions,
1.Target and object:
* Target
• To protect Vietnamese traditional culture and more familiar with people all around the world.
• To connect community through V.T.G local volunteer activity
• Short term aim: to enhance actions in Hanoi and
• Long term aim: “ Not only do we volunteer in our nation, but we can also combine with organizations, volunteers of others in Southeast Asia”
2.Object in Volunteer
• Poor children, H.I.V women.
3.Location
* Location: In the first time, Tour and home-stay will be hold in Hanoi and Sontay
• The number of volunteer for each short-day tour : 5 people
• The eating and going cost: depend on menu in home-stay
• Short-day tour: 1 day ( in Hanoi or Sontay)
• Long – day tour: 2-3 days (in Sontay and another suburb of Hanoi)
