Từ đề tài nghiên cứu khoa học do Viện Nghiên cứu và Phát triển ngành nghề nông thôn Việt Nam (VIRI) thực hiện giai đoạn 2020 - 2023 về phát triển du lịch gắn với văn hóa ẩm thực Gia Lai, mô hình chợ đêm ẩm thực tại Pleiku đã được địa phương đưa vào quy hoạch và đã được hiện thức hoá tại địa phương.
Trên cơ sở đề xuất nghiên cứu của VIRI và các chuyên gia từ Sở Văn hoá - Thể thao và Du lịch tỉnh Gia Lai, địa phương đã di dời chợ đầu mối, cải tạo khu vực thành không gian chợ đêm phục vụ du lịch và kinh tế đêm, góp phần quảng bá ẩm thực, văn hóa bản địa và tạo điểm nhấn mới cho du lịch Gia Lai.
VIRI trân trọng cảm ơn Sở Khoa học và Công nghệ tỉnh Gia Lai, Sở Văn hóa - Thể thao và Du lịch tỉnh Gia Lai và chính quyền địa phương đã hỗ trợ trong suốt thời gian nghiên cứu và đã hiện thực hoá tại địa phương.

Based on the scientific research project conducted by the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) during the 2020–2023 period on tourism development associated with Gia Lai’s culinary culture, the Pleiku Night Food Market model was incorporated into the local development plan and has now been implemented in the locality.
Building upon VIRI’s research recommendations and contributions from experts of the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the local authorities relocated the wholesale market and transformed the area into a night market space serving tourism and the night-time economy. The project contributes to promoting local cuisine and indigenous culture while creating a new highlight for Gia Lai tourism.
VIRI would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Gia Lai Department of Science and Technology, the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the local authorities for their support throughout the research process and for bringing the initiative into reality at the local level.

Ngày 27/3/2026 vừa qua, Viện Nghiên cứu và Phát triển ngành nghề nông thôn Việt Nam và Viện Kinh tế Pháp luật quốc tế đã có buổi gặp mặt và làm việc với Hội Nông dân tỉnh Bắc Ninh. Trong không khí cởi mở và hợp tác, VIRI đã trao đổi với Hội Nông dân các hoạt động có thể hỗ trợ cho các đơn vị doanh nghiệp trong khuôn khổ chương trình Eco Fair WBs tại địa phương, các định hướng hỗ trợ cụ thể như cải thiện, nâng cao chất lượng đất, sản phẩm, thúc đẩy áp dụng các tiêu chuẩn sản xuất xanh, tuần hoàn và thân thiện với môi trường.... Bên cạnh đó, việc kết nối thị trường, xây dựng thương hiệu và gia tăng giá trị cho sản phẩm nông nghiệp địa phương cũng được xác định là những ưu tiên quan trọng.
Thông qua buổi gặp mặt, hai bên kỳ vọng sẽ tăng cường phối hợp trong thời gian tới để triển khai hiệu quả các hoạt động hỗ trợ, góp phần nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh cho các doanh nghiệp và hợp tác xã nông nghiệp, đồng thời thúc đẩy phát triển kinh tế nông thôn theo hướng bền vững và bao trùm.

On 27 March 2026, the Vietnam Institute for Research and Development of Rural Industries (VIRI), in collaboration with the Institute of International Economics and Law, held a meeting and working session with the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers’ Union.
In an open and cooperative atmosphere, VIRI engaged in discussions with the Farmers’ Union on potential support activities for local enterprises under the Eco Fair WBs programme. Key areas of support outlined included improving and enhancing soil quality and product standards, promoting the adoption of green, circular, and environmentally friendly production practices, as well as strengthening compliance with relevant sustainability standards.
In addition, market linkages, brand development, and value addition for local agricultural products were identified as key priorities.
Through this meeting, both parties expressed their expectation to further strengthen collaboration in the coming period to effectively implement support activities. These efforts aim to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises and cooperatives, while promoting sustainable and inclusive rural economic development

Trong khuôn khổ chương trình Eco Fair 2, VIRI và VNCPC đã có một buổi báo cáo tổng kết kết quả sau 4 tháng triển khai tại tỉnh An Giang và Tuyên Quang với sự tham gia của đại diện Hội Nông dân tỉnh An Giang và Tuyên Quang cùng đại diện các doanh nghiệp vào tháng 11 vừa qua. Báo cáo cho thấy các doanh nghiệp và hợp tác xã tham gia đã có những chuyển biến tích cực, đặc biệt trong việc hoàn thiện quy trình sản xuất, cải tiến bao bì, tăng cường quản trị chất lượng và bước đầu tiếp cận các mô hình kinh tế tuần hoàn.
Buổi tổng kết cũng gặp gỡ thêm một số các doanh nghiệp mới dự kiến sẽ tiếp tục đồng hành cho các hoạt động hỗ trợ tiếp theo nhằm nâng cao hiệu quả, tăng cường kết nối và tạo động lực phát triển lâu dài cho doanh nghiệp địa phương. Buổi làm việc diễn ra trong không khí cởi mở, hợp tác và nhận được sự đánh giá tốt từ các bên liên quan.

Within the framework of the Eco Fair 2 program, VIRI and VNCPC held a wrap-up meeting to present the results after four months of implementation in An Giang and Tuyên Quang provinces, with the participation of representatives from the Provincial Farmers’ Unions of An Giang and Tuyên Quang, as well as local enterprises, in November. The report indicated that participating enterprises and cooperatives have made positive progress, particularly in improving production processes, enhancing packaging, strengthening quality management, and initially engaging with circular economy models.
The meeting also welcomed several new enterprises expected to join the next phase of support activities, aiming to improve effectiveness, strengthen linkages, and create long-term development momentum for local businesses. The session took place in an open and collaborative atmosphere and received positive feedback from all stakeholders.

Trong khuôn khổ Triển lãm FoodExpo do Cục Xúc tiến Thương mại tổ chức, dự án Eco Fair có Khu gian hàng Eco Fair dành cho các doanh nghiệp, hợp tác xã tham gia trưng bày và giới thiệu sản phẩm nhằm mở rộng thị trường trong nước và quốc tế.
Các sản phẩm nông sản và nông sản chế biến có sự tham gia lao động của hàng ngàn lao động địa phương, đặc biệt là lao động nữ. Một số sản phẩm qua sự can thiệp của dự án đã có những bước tiến bộ vượt bậc như tăng thời gian bảo quản tự nhiên (không sử dụng hoá chất) từ 12 tháng lên 18 tháng ở nhiệt độ thường.
Chúng tôi hy vọng các doanh nghiệp sẽ đạt được những kết quả tốt đẹp, mở rộng quan hệ đối tác và tăng doanh thu thông qua hội chợ FoodExpo lần này.

Within the framework of the FoodExpo organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), the Eco Fair 2 programme hosts the Eco Fair booth, where participating enterprises and cooperatives showcase and promote their products to expand both domestic and international markets.
The agricultural and processed products exhibited involve the participation of thousands of local workers, particularly women. Thanks to the programme’s support, several products have achieved remarkable improvements — for example, extending their natural shelf life (without the use of chemicals) from 12 months to 18 months at room temperature.
We hope that through this year’s FoodExpo, participating enterprises will achieve positive outcomes, expand partnerships, and increase their revenues.

Từ ngày 12 – 15/11/2025, Chương trình Eco Fair - “Phát triển nông nghiệp sinh thái (nông nghiệp bền vững) cho các doanh nghiệp trong lĩnh vực Nông nghiệp xanh và tuần hoàn tại Việt Nam” hỗ trợ các đơn vị tham gia Hội chợ FoodExpo 2025 tại Trung tâm Hội chợ và Triển lãm Sài Gòn (SECC), TP. VIRI Meets Foodmax – Collaborating to Expand Markets and Promote the Eco Fair Model! 🤝🌍
On October 16, VIRI had a working session with Foodmax to discuss potential cooperation in supporting farmers producing coffee, rice, and other agricultural products, while promoting the Eco Fair model – a fair and environmentally friendly production approach.
Both sides agreed to proceed towards signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future, aiming to expand Vietnam’s agricultural markets to Europe and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), thereby enhancing farmers’ income and promoting sustainable agriculture. 🌾☕🌱

(English below) Ngày 23/09/2025, trong khuôn khổ tiểu dự án “Hỗ trợ doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ thực hiện quy định sản xuất không gây mất rừng (EUDR)”, thuộc Chương trình Hỗ trợ đổi mới và cạnh tranh (ICG) – hợp tác thương mại Việt Nam – Thụy Sỹ, Văn phòng Chứng chỉ rừng bền vững (VFCO) và Viện Nghiên cứu và Phát triển Ngành nghề nông thôn Việt Nam (VIRI) phối hợp tổ chức cuộc họp phổ biến hướng dẫn thực hiện EUDR tại Việt Nam để doanh nghiệp kịp thời thích ứng với yêu cầu mới từ thị trường EU. Cuộc họp diễn ra hình thức trực tiếp và trực tuyến với sự tham gia của hơn 100 đại biểu gồm nhiều chuyên gia, hiệp hội và doanh nghiệp ngành cà phê đến từ các tỉnh: Hà Nội, Sơn La, Đăk Lăk, Lâm Đồng, Đăk Nôngi…
Việc thích ứng với EUDR không chỉ là thách thức mà còn mở ra cơ hội nâng cao giá trị và vị thế cà phê Việt Nam trên thị trường toàn cầu.

On September 23, 2025, within the framework of the sub-project “Supporting SMEs in Implementing the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)”, under the Innovation and Competitiveness Grant Program (ICG) – Vietnam–Switzerland Trade Cooperation, the Vietnam Forest Certification Office (VFCO) and the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) jointly organized a meeting to disseminate guidelines for implementing the EUDR in Vietnam, so that enterprises can promptly adapt to the new requirements of the EU market

The meeting was held in both in-person and online formats, with the participation of more than 100 delegates, including experts, associations, and coffee enterprises from provinces such as Hanoi, Son La, Dak Lak, Lam D**g, Dak Nong, ….

The adaptation to the EUDR is not only a challenge but also opens up opportunities to enhance the value and position of Vietnamese coffee in the global market.

Hội nghị Toàn cầu AVPN 2025 đã khép lại với những con số ấn tượng!

Trong ba ngày qua tại Hồng Kông, hơn 1.550 đại biểu từ 50 thị trường, cùng với 300 diễn giả tại 110 phiên họp, đã quy tụ dưới chủ đề “Lãnh đạo Châu Á vì một Thế giới Hòa nhập”, hội nghị đã vượt ra ngoài khuôn khổ đối thoại thông thường. That’s a wrap on the AVPN Global Conference 2025 with impressive numbers!

Over the past three days in Hong Kong, more than 1,550 delegates from 50 markets, alongside 300 speakers across 110 sessions, gathered under the theme “Asian Leadership for an Inclusive World.”, the Conference went beyond dialogue. It became a catalyst for action, mobilising ideas, partnerships and capital to address Asia’s pressing social and environmental challenges.

Vietnam has numerous opportunities available, including impact investment, blended finance, philanthropy, and cross-border collaboration.

AVPN Vietnam and VIRI are actively following up on the opportunities generated through the Conference to translate them into concrete actions.
