Coffee exporters noted that over 38.2 thousand tons of coffee were exported in the first month of 2024, setting a record for the highest volume of coffee exports in nearly 13 years and bringing in the highest export turnover to date. The average export price of 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 in the first month of 2024 reached $3,050 per ton, a 5.6% increase compared to the previous month and a 39.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

In December 2023, the United States continued to be the primary export market for Vietnamese pepper, holding a 30.7% market share. Key markets for Vietnamese pepper included China market, the UAE, India, and China. Looking ahead to 2024, pepper exports are expected to be more favorable due to reduced production and the current inventory being at its lowest level in years.

Vietnam boasts three 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 with great export potential: Shiitake mushrooms, Oyster mushrooms, and Wood Ear mushrooms. These mushrooms are versatile and can be used in a wide range of culinary dishes, becoming a staple in people's daily diets. Additionally, when dried, exporting these mushrooms becomes more convenient, as they are easier to package, transport, and store.
In recent years, the annual fresh mushroom production in Vietnam has reached approximately 370,000 tons, with export revenues of around USD 25-30 million annually.

In Vietnam, 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬 are considered an economically valuable vegetable crop, with extensive cultivation spanning tens of thousands of hectares. The majority of tomato cultivation occurs in the Red River Delta and the northern midlands. However, with the development of new heat-tolerant hybrid varieties, tomato cultivation has expanded to the Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions. Notably, Lam D**g province, particularly in Da Lat, has seen significant progress in developing high-quality hybrid tomato varieties, some of which have been exported to the global market.
