ESHS PTA Vision:
ESHS PTA vision and primary objective is to support the Elmore Stoutt High School administration in the promotion of our children’s secondary level educational advancement, physical health and overall holistic well being; through strong family parenting, faculty interaction and committed community support. ESHS PTA Values:
Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s hea
lth, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement. Collaboration: We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to accomplish our agreed-upon goals. Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations. We deliver on our promises. Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others. Inclusivity: We invite and encourage all parents to come out, share and most importantly participate. We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible. Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the mistake and seek to make amends. ESHS PTA General Goals:
Enjoy Informed Parents: Involved parents understand the challenges ESHS face and become part of the solution. By developing a closer relationship with parents, student achievement improves, and the school develops a positive reputation in the community. Boost Children’s Well-Being: ESHS PTA focus on what students need to be successful in their learning, including nutrition, health, school safety, physical fitness and general well-being. The ESHS PTA must work with the school and ministry vision to ensure that every child succeeds. Improve Communication: Usage of technology, in particular social media will be a key tool in keeping the entire school community informed of current events, issues, and accomplishments. Regular meetings with Q & A allowances will allow the ESHS PTAs to share information intimately with all members and stake holders. Hidden Treasures: Our local PTA is self-funding, so fundraisers support school programs, building improvements, and educational events. The ESHS PTA will create “Student/Parent/Teacher” friendly events in collaboration with the school’s principal administration and community members, so that fundraising will achieve the greatest success. Visible & Measurable Results: Our PTA organizes hard-working, dedicated volunteers, who are normally already overworked. Additional parental and the community support are anticipated to be more favorable, when visible and measurable results can be outlined prior to leveraging for more volunteer power and financial support.
