Summer Reading Tips by Ms. Louis☀️

Reading is one of the keys to unlocking your future. Read books based on your interests, then share a summary of what you’ve read with someone.

🪐 Explore science with fun, hands-on experiments (with adult supervision)! Use materials you already have at home or find ideas in books and online.

Keep it REAL: Read, Explore 🌎, and Learn!

📚☀️ Summer Reading Tips by Ms. Fevrier☀️📚

Reading for just 20 minutes each day can help build vocabulary, strengthen comprehension skills, and prevent the "summer slide." This summer, grab a great book, find a shady spot under a tree, and enjoy getting lost in a good story!

While you're reading, remember to stay safe in the sun, wear sunscreen, put on a hat, and keep a water bottle nearby to stay hydrated. 🌳🧢💧

Happy reading and enjoy a fun, safe, and story-filled summer!

📚✨ Reader Spotlight ✨📚

Today's Summer Reading Challenge spotlight is on Hailey!

📖 Currently Reading: The Baby-Sitters Club…Karen’s New Friend

When asked what she enjoyed most about the book, Hailey shared that her favorite part was “when Karen became best friends with Addie…but Karen started becoming too attached and wouldn’t leave Addie alone.” This kept Hailey wanting to read more because she felt there was a chance Karen and Addie might not stay friends.

Every page turned is a step toward stronger reading skills and a lifelong love of learning. We are proud of our young readers for making reading a part of their summer adventure!
