Each senior leaves behind a unique legacy, but together they have helped strengthen our program, mentor younger Leaguers, and contribute to a culture of high expectations and achievement. The lessons they learned and the relationships they built will continue to guide them as they pursue higher education, careers, military service, and other future endeavors.

While their time as Leaguers may be coming to a close, their impact on this organization will remain for years to come.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to all that you will achieve.

Kappa Kamp: Refectio provided Leaguers with an opportunity to step away from their daily routines and spend a weekend focused on rest, reflection, and brotherhood during a three-day retreat to Camp Sawyer in the Florida Keys.

From fishing and swimming at Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park to grilling, making s’mores, and enjoying time together, the weekend allowed our young men to strengthen relationships and create lasting memories outside of the classroom and meeting environment.

More than a getaway, Refectio reminded Leaguers of the importance of balance. By taking time to reset and reconnect, they returned refreshed, refocused, and prepared to finish the school year with purpose and determination.

Through Law and You Day, in partnership with Men of Tomorrow, Kappa Leaguers stepped inside a real courtroom and heard directly from judges and legal professionals about the justice system, civic responsibility, and the impact of personal decision-making.

The experience gave Leaguers a firsthand look at how the legal system operates and helped them better understand their rights, responsibilities, and the consequences that can result from everyday choices. By engaging with professionals in the field, they also gained insight into careers in law and public service.

More than a lesson about the courtroom, the day encouraged our young men to think critically about accountability, character, and the role they play in shaping their own future.

At the Model African Union – Specialized Technical Committee on Education, Science, and Technology, Kappa Leaguers stepped into the role of national leaders, representing African nations as Ministers of Education. Through research, preparation, and formal presentations, they examined real challenges facing students and explored how education can drive national growth and opportunity.

Representing another country required Leaguers to think beyond their own experiences, consider different perspectives, and develop solutions supported by evidence and critical thinking. As they delivered their speeches, they strengthened their public speaking skills, confidence, and ability to communicate complex ideas.

The experience demonstrated that leadership extends beyond local communities. It requires understanding global issues, engaging with diverse viewpoints, and recognizing the powerful role education plays in shaping the future.

Kappa Leaguers participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk at Nova Southeastern University, joining community members in raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention. The experience reinforced the importance of checking in on others, recognizing when someone may need support, and understanding that asking for help is a sign of strength.

The day continued with a campus tour hosted by , giving Leaguers a glimpse into college life and the opportunities that higher education can provide. They also visited the Craig and Barbara Weiner Holocaust Museum, where they reflected on history, responsibility, and the lasting impact that individual choices can have on others.

Technology is shaping the future, and our Leaguers are preparing to lead it.

At the Black Men in Tech Thrive Conference, Leaguers connected with professionals, explored careers in technology, and gained insight into fields such as artificial intelligence, content creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Through workshops and meaningful conversations, they learned how these industries translate into real-world opportunities and career pathways.

More importantly, the experience challenged them to think about their own future—what skills they need to develop, what opportunities exist, and how they can position themselves for success in a rapidly changing world.
Leadership begins with exposure, and exposure creates possibility.
