Still recovering… and still smiling!!

This is how we closed out Zionsville Pride—soaked from head to toe after an incredible day that wrapped up just before the skies opened.

We’re still taking a little time to catch our breath, dry out the decor, sort through everything, and relish in what an amazing day it was. We plan to share more photos, stories, thank-yous, and highlights from the festival over the coming days.

This year, the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Board implemented a policy requiring retail vendors at our festival to remit 10% of their gross sales to the Parks Department.

For many small businesses—and especially small queer-owned businesses—this creates a substantial barrier to participation in a community event meant to celebrate and support
them.

We believe community festivals should lower barriers for small businesses, not introduce new financial obstacles that limit access and inclusion.

We are deeply grateful to The Lovely Dev, who stepped in to sponsor our retail vendors by covering booth fees.

Their action directly offsets these costs and reflects a commitment to accessibility and mutual support within our vendor community.

We truly value all of our sponsors, partners, and supporters who have invested in making participation possible for everyone. Your generosity helps create a Pride celebration that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to our entire community.

It takes a community to make Pride happen, and you can help!

We’re looking for donations and loaned items to help make this year’s Zionsville Pride Festival more comfortable, fun, and welcoming for everyone.

Some of the items we’re looking for include:
• Pop-up tents
• Box or standing fans
• Activities for kids
• Card and quiet games
• Sunscreen
• Hand sanitizer
• Electrolyte packets
• Bug spray
• Cooling towels
• Disposable gloves
• Trash bags

Whether you have an extra tent to lend for the day or can pick up a few supplies on your next shopping trip, every contribution makes a difference.
