Go to Zavalla City Hall! Take the kids to get free Back to school shoes while they last! Happening now…

👟CALLING ALL OF OUR LOCAL KIDDOS GOING BACK TO SCHOOL👟

The Pineywoods Beyond Foundation has purchased 50 shoes size ranging from pre-k size to mens 12 for the boys and girls headed back to school!

🥾Saturday, August 1st 9am - until we give them all out.
👟Zavalla City Hall
🥾Children must be present so that they may see what size they need
👟We are not able to offer exchanges or returns after the shoes are taken

If you have kids starting school take them to Zavalla City Hall for free back to school shoes while they last! Local organizations work so hard for the community to make sure our kids have what they need!

If you have been in the Zavalla Community for some time you remember the Poinsetta tree as part of the Christmas Festivities. We are proud to revive that tradition. It has an updated look but brings the old Tradition to life again…

Thanks to Sue Morell for locating it and to Jayden West and Terry Casey for decorating it. The use of the bench was donated by Carlos and Carolyn Guzman from Blueberry Bogg. This will be Santa’s spot at the Christmas Market in the Cafeteria tomorrow… come out and see him…

Come Home to Christmas in Zavalla

It is not too late to join the fun! if you want to light up your side by side or vehicle and be a part of the parade! We will line up starting at 5pm by the cafeteria. Lets make Zavalla Shine with Christmas Spirit!

We’re now accepting entries for the Come Home to Christmas in Zavalla Lighted Christmas Parade! 🚗🚜🎅

📍 Line-up: 5:30 PM at the Zavalla ISD bus area (next to the Cafeteria)

Bring your creativity, Christmas spirit, and lots of lights for your float, side-by-side, or other festive entry! 🎁 Giveaways are encouraged — just remember to keep safety first (please don’t throw items close to moving vehicles).

✨ If weather forces a cancellation, the parade will automatically be held the following Saturday.

Mark your calendars for our Christmas Event. Come Home to Christmas in Zavalla. We will have our Indoor Christmas Vendor Market from 10a-3pm where you can shop local vendors, have some good food and meet Santa. Our lighted Christmas Parade that evening at sundown. And our participating Businesses and Homes will be decorated brining Christmas Cheer to the town. It is also the closing day of Zavalla ISD annual basketball tournament the Jingle Bell Jubilee.
