Here at VowsToKeep, we want to help you learn to apply the Bible to the challenges we all face in marriage. Your marriage can be blessed and successful!

We are VowsToKeep, here to serve your marriage in the following ways:

Helping you understand God's plan for marriage and apply His Word to your life through marriage counseling, classes and weekend conferences, fun date nights throughout the year and our weekly radio broadcasts/podcast, VowsToKeep Radio. We provide Christian counseling services and crisis intervention to married couples. We provide mentorship to married couples and to coach couples who are in need of marital healing by presenting a distinctly Biblical view and clarity in the manner in which Christ would be glorified by their marriage. We provide Christian counseling services to engaged couples. We provide educational opportunities via seminars and conferences to present Biblical truth with application to enhance marriages. And we seek to put the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the center of all our teachings.

❤️ Pro Tip for Husbands: Lead by Serving

Biblical leadership isn’t about being the boss; it’s about being willing to serve.

Jesus modeled leadership through humility, sacrifice, and putting others before Himself. Your wife doesn’t need a husband who demands to be followed; she needs a husband who is willing to lead the way in loving, serving, protecting, and sacrificing.

The best leaders don’t ask, “What can she do for me?” They ask, “How can I love and serve her today?”

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." Matthew 20:26

💕 PRO TIP FOR WIVES:
Don’t use his past mistakes as am******on in today’s argument.

When your husband has genuinely apologized, taken responsibility, and you’ve chosen to forgive, resist the temptation to pull that mistake back out every time you’re hurt or frustrated. You can’t build a healthy marriage while constantly putting each other on trial for things that happened yesterday. When cocnflict comes, deal with today's issue, not every issue you've ever had.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened didn’t matter. It means you’re choosing not to keep using it as a weapon.

📖 “It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:5

💕 Pro tip: If you’ve forgiven it, don’t keep it loaded in the chamber for the next argument.

Marriage gives us a beautiful opportunity to follow Christ’s example. Jesus didn’t come to be served—He came to serve. What would change in your marriage if both husband and wife stopped asking, “What is my spouse doing for me?” and started asking, “How can I serve my spouse today?” Sometimes the strongest marriages are built through the smallest acts of selfless love. ❤️

This week, look for one way to serve your spouse without expecting anything in return.

Pro Tip for Husbands: Make your wife feel safe bringing hard things to you. ❤️

When your wife brings you something difficult, she may not always be looking for a solution. Sometimes, she just needs to know she can be honest with you without being dismissed, mocked, or met with anger. Listen before you defend. Ask questions before assuming. Stay calm when the conversation gets uncomfortable. Your wife should know that even when the conversation is hard, your love is steady.

A strong marriage isn’t one where hard conversations never happen—it’s one where both spouses know they’re safe enough to have them.
